It's been a while between sets for me. Covid has meant no gigs, and I have been channelling my creative energies into other avenues of expression. My mixes have been spontaneous, and often, after a flurry of dope mixes, I realise I didn't hit record. Today my favourite person and partner (who plays by the name of DJ Sandy Beaches) made sure I hit record before I hit play. And so here is a set - impromptu and mixed on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon with a few friends.

One of the most memorable moments when I felt truly connected to those around me and to nature like a flowing circle was during a camping trip with a group of friends in a remote forest. We had planned the trip for weeks and were all very excited to spend a weekend in the great outdoors.

On the second day of our trip, we decided to explore the forest and stumbled upon a beautiful clearing with a small creek running through it. We sat down on the grass, taking in the beauty of the surrounding trees and the sound of the flowing water.

As we sat there, a gentle breeze began to blow, rustling the leaves above us. We closed our eyes and took a deep breath, feeling the cool air fill our lungs. Then, one of my friends suggested that we hold hands in a circle and take turns sharing something that we were grateful for.

We formed a circle, holding hands and closed our eyes, each taking turns sharing our thoughts. Some of us expressed gratitude for the beauty of nature around us, while others shared personal stories and experiences that had shaped them. As we listened to each other, we felt a sense of unity and connection that seemed to flow through us like the gentle breeze.

As we finished our sharing, we opened our eyes to see a family of deer grazing nearby, seemingly unbothered by our presence. It felt as if we were all part of the same natural cycle of life, connected to each other and to the world around us.

That moment left a lasting impression on me, reminding me of the importance of human connection and the beauty of nature. It made me appreciate the little things in life and the simple joys of being alive. It also made me realize how much we need each other to feel whole, and how sharing our experiences and emotions can bring us closer together.

Raul Jordan is the artist behind the Lab’s Cloud project. Born in 1978 in Valencia (Spain).
Raúl began producing Psychedelic Trance as PSYCHO ABSTRACT with many compilations and
three albums in well-known labels. And after some years, in
2004, Raul starts a new project focused in Ambient & Down Tempo music under the project's
name: LAB'S CLOUD.
His style in words of the listeners is: a smooth organic ride, sweet, deep, riding, floating,
beautiful and delicious music oriented to chill outs, with space atmospheres, some chilling
vocals, some ethnic sounds, ethereal flutes and acoustic recordings (percussion, guitars..etc)
that make a sublime fusion that culminates into an aural experience. A definite trip for the soul!
The first single "Esmeralda" appears in 2005 in the compilation Chillum 4 (Agitato Records)
motivating great interest in many international labels. (All releases bellow).
The live performances is a very important item for Lab’s Cloud, for that reason, Raul makes
real live, improvising with synths and adapting the sounds according to the answer of the
audience. 
Since several years, Raúl is working as R+D engineer, developing professional audio
processors (EQ, Compressors-Limiters, crossover...) for Lynx Pro Audio. Actually with his
experience as sound engineer is offering his mixing and mastering services (Abstract
Studios), who demand it.
