“Lonely OR Alone” is a loneliness-themed Motion Graphic, that telling a story with two perspectives. Loneliness is completely different scene through the eyes of the lonely one and bystanders.

Through the eyes of loner, you can see the negative and twisted thoughts deep from the loner's heart. However, when the bystander has not empathy with the loner, they can not feel all loner's pain and suffering at all.
Dividing the audience into two groups : the loner and the bystander, to understand and to see things from each others' perspective.  

By watching the MG, the audience can be inspired and pay more attention to the lonely one, and might be able to encourage the loners taking an action to ask for help. Hope it will raise a great deal of concern on this subject.

"Pandora Illusion" is a combining live electronic music and new media art with percussion to create an immersive experience of virtual and real listening. The audience is surrounded by 16.1 speakers and three-sided surround projections, creating a performance field full of dislocation and illusion for the viewers. 

These two pieces are my part of sound design in this event.

The performance took place in Taipei, Hong-Gah museum in September 2020.

Jane

With a background in classical music conservatory, she chose to tell contemporary stories through electronic sound. Her works have been featured in electronic music festivals and experimental sound platforms across cities like New York and Seoul, and she has participated in international forums exploring the relationship between music and the body, sound and space.

Her sonic language deconstructs rhythmic structures and melodic textures, weaving between minimal grooves and emotional atmospheres. Much like herself—calm and composed on the outside, yet roaring with intensity within.

For this performance, she looks forward to connecting with fellow artists and audiences alike, seeking new resonances and possibilities through sound.
