- Who are you? How old are you?

I’m a 31year old music producer and sound enthusiast born and based in Malta.

- What is your stage name?

@acidulant + a new alias coming in 2021 Collateral Intelligence that will feature more electronic sci-fi and ambient music.

- How many months/ years have you been Djing / producing?

Been producing music for more or fewer than 14years, but I’m not really sure about the exact figures.

- Why do you want to share your music?

Simply so I can maybe make people enjoy the music I’m listening to or making as much as I do

- Mention an artist that inspired you to become a DJ/producer?

@luke-vibert, an inspirational artist with an exceptional catalogue of music that varies from style to style.

- Is there a local artist that you look up to and love to see play at events?

I enjoy a lot of the local artists and DJs playing around Malta, but if I had to point out 2 particular ones: I’d always enjoy a DJ set by @seanrickett for example, a great record selector and collector and a guy who I share a lot of common taste in music, Of course , the music
producer I look up to is without any doubt @microlith (Rhys), although he left us at such a young the impact he left on me and many others is something that drives me each day in making.

Filip Kiripolsky and his ongoing obsession with music is lifelong. Since his early age, he was involved in deep and spiritual stuff, as he cut his teeth while playing pipe organ in his hometown, experiencing rise and decay of Slovakian society. His morals just went down after studying musicology in Brno, where he expanded his skills and gradually found himself to be infatuated with various genres of electronig music. Founding member of CEREAL collective, he became integral part of Bratislavian techno underground, where he still keeps coming back from his current base of operation located close to Fuchs2 venue in Prague. Ongoing Decay of Morals is as good on decks as toying with various hardware and releasing his tracks, which are crafted almost with fanatical perfectionism. His selection spans wide - is it proggy breaks, offbeat techno, electro or italo? Overdoseman’s usb covers it.

Meeting Johnny and Andrea was a definite highlight of our 2019 when they invited us to play their club night at the Tooth and Claw and also joining us for our all day DDE HD party back in May.  The pair couple up to make up the Hypnotic Groove DJ's and have gained huge respect for their high NRG techno sets that never fail to bang, label and on-going mix series.

The next event for the Hypnotic Groove gang is on home-turf with Granary 12  headling on 15th February.
