Oak Tales is a DJ name of Mihail Solakov born in Skopje, Macedonia
My First touch with psychedelic trance music is in 2005/2006 on a gigs in and around Skopje. After traveling Europe festivals for few years and experienced different styles of psychedelic trance I found himself deeply touched by the magic of the so called forest psychedelic sounds. Since this music was kind of lacking on the parties last years in my hometown in 2014 I decided to start spin some tracks, do some parties and promote this style to the new generation of free spirits around here. In 2016 I got invited to the Forestdelic Records family and from then I’m representing this label.
When I’m playing on a parties I try never to repeat myself and I’m not stick to one style of music. I always try to feel the people energy and the mood of the party and there is much difference in what I play in order if its outdoor gathering or indoor club party.
The DJ sets i play is combination of Scandinavian deep and abstract forest sounds to more groove and dynamic/rhythmic tunes.
In 2016 I started working on my debut VA which will be released for Forestdelic Rec in the beginning of 2018.
In this set for RadiOzora you can hear some of the tunes which are going to be released on my upcoming VA called Nautilus.

"Strangely, jester-type entities commonly appear in the DMT experiences. In DMT: THE SPIRIT MOLECULE, many participants reported encountering “clowns”, “jesters”, “jokers”, and “imps” during their experiences with the substance. Many users report also describe these types of entities as ‘tricksters’. These entities are often engaged in elaborate and mind-boggling performances and tricks. The environment they inhabit can also reﬂect their entertaining nature, with many users ﬁnding themselves in strange dimensions that resemble a circus, carnival, or casino. In fact, Terence McKenna said that “the archetype of DMT is the circus”. The prevalence of jesters and tricksters in the DMT experience is quite curious. Why do so many people come to meet them? The writer Paul Mattick reiterates this point, noting that jesters “violate principles of social and natural order, playfully disrupting normal life and then re-establishing it on a new basis.” And this is exactly what the jesters and trickster entities in the DMT realm like to do. They break the rules, in an absolutely confounding manner. They will dismantle, construct, manifest themselves, move, and perform tricks that seem to bend all notions of causality, normality, and sense. These entities will casually throw all of your reference points and preconceptions out the window. Breaking the laws of physics and playing games with reality is what they do best."

Under my old alias 'Junklan' I played a variety of multi genre set styles ranging from heavy DnB / Bass sets all the way to downtempo / psychedelic / chill sets. I may still play under this name occasionally in the future, though my musical path has now shifted to new horizons
