Rain Cycle explores the sounds of Los Angeles in Spring: the lingering of cool air under sterling sunshine, the heavy thrum of cloud cover, the gusts of wind presaging a storm, the joyous release of a downpour, sunlight breaking through the thunderheads; and finally, the calming of elements when we are returned to Spring. Rain Cycle features the voices of seven L.A. Choral Lab singers, including soloists Marisa Esposito (Cloud Cover) and Frank Hobbs (Rainfall).

Rain Cycle is a choral suite composed by Divya Maus for the L.A. Choral Lab. It premiered on April 11, 2021 as part of the L.A. Choral Lab's "SOUNDWALK: An Auditory Safari" in Griffith Park.
