La Défense, originally created as the solo project of Austrian Singer/Songwriter Dominik Pandelidis, was formed in 2009. Shortly after the release of the debut album “Playing Chess” in Autumn 2010 further Musicians joined the project. From that point on “La Défense” no longer existed as a solo project but as a collection of creative young people.

Within the setting of a band their sound consistently kept growing. After 60 gigs from vienna to stuttgart and airplay on several local radio stations as well as on GoTV, Austrias No.1 TV channel for music, the band can count on the support of a constantly growing fan base. The video for the first single “Far Away” even topped GoTVs voting charts.

Atmospheric yet conscious, rooted yet innovative, La Défense released their 2nd record “Words You’ll Never Say,” based on traditional songwriting and progressive arrangements.
