I'm delighted to welcome Mauro Vecchi to this week's show. I've been a long-standing fan of his DJ mixes and I also love his own productions. Excited to have his uplifting grooves on my show for the second hour!

** BIO **
Rhythm Addicted since 90s, Mauro Vecchi is a DJ from the bottom of his heart with a funky soul. His sets vary from downtempo grooves to quality disco/house. From vinyl to digital it makes no difference, the most important thing is good music!
Always active in clubs and events in his are
a and beyond, in 2022 he joined Discoholics Anonymous team for a monthly residence in “Hot To the Touch” radioshow. Weekly mixes can be heard in his popular Mixcloud channel.

Mauro has a Bandcamp channel with his edits and remixes as well as some official tracks on And Friends Records. He has also released some edits in prestigious collections like Discoholics Anonymous and Yacht Disco Edits / Too Slow To Disco.

Presenting the Black Light Disco Show which aired exclusively on MyHouseRadio.fm on 17th April 2023.

For this one, we revert to our tried and trusted pairing of Goz and Esteban to guide you through your two hour journey through the disco undergrowth.  

Goz will be holding court for the first hour, taking a welcome break from setting up the Exec Boardroom here in BLD Towers for this month’s ‘Sonic Shadow Committee’ meeting. A selection of slow burn goodies are on the agenda here, so expect to be melted by the laid back tinctures on offer. 

For the second hour, Esteban will be slipping into his silk kimono and taking things up a notch. New music from the likes of More Amour, Kristoff MX, Joi N’Juno, Chewy Rubs, Scruscru and Andromeda Orchestra will be bubbling up from the disco valve.

For the ninth installment in our Just For The Night series, selectors take you on their own journey through groove. Anything goes.

Dust Down Records invites Javi Frias, a madrileño disco afficionado & firm favourite of ours. He began collecting and playing records as a young ‘soul boy' at the end of the nineties in his hometown Madrid & you can find his edits & reworks on labels like Street Edits, Tropical Disco Records & Midnight Riot.

In 2017 he started his own label Night Shift Records, devoted to edits and reworks of disco and house. He's part of the mysterious Disco Pocho label too, focused on the soul and funk side of the disco edit.

He's also resident DJ & booker of Discotizer, one of the finest disco, boogie and house parties in Spain (currently at El Sotano), where he has shared the decks with names like Louie Vega, Dave Lee, Danny Krivit, Rahaan, Eddie C, Faze Action, Mr. Mendel, & more.

International Dj, producer and remixer Jonathan Douglas Braverman, known as Ladies On Mars, has been on a musical journey since the conception of 2006 of his successful Minimal Techno music project. The artist born in Buenos Aires has accumulated numerous achievements, although it was his 2007 hit "We Are Not Lesvicon", published on Xela Digital, which really impelled Ladies On Mars to be in the eye of the storm, reaching within the TOP 40 of Beatport's Minimal. Another of his great achievements was in 2009 when he won the Beatport contest for remixing the song "Peace" by the group Depeche Mode, his remix became the best-selling band in Beatport for several years.

Since then, the native of Argentina has continued to evolve, mutating its sound, perfecting from the Minimal Techno of its beginnings to the Tech-House, current Funky House. Remixing artists like Aka Aka and Home Video. Editing his music on labels such as Prison Entertainment, Emi Music or his own label: Boom Zwapp Records.

In addition to having an impressive subsequent catalog of solo and collaborative productions, Ladies On Mars has also offered remixes for numerous top-level musicians, including: AKA AKA, Daniele Petronelli, Min & Mal, Home Video, etc ...

Outside of the studio, Jonathan is a touring DJ who is in great demand and his daily agenda is fuller. Taking their Marsian sound and a unique mix of spatial sounds with a lot of groove mixed with Funk, House and Tech-House directly to the dance floor in some of the best clubs, festivals and events in the world in countries, including: Germany, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
