Following the success of our inaugural Shades Of Summer compilation last year, we are back with Volume Two. For this album we have extended the album to ten tracks, once again casting our net around the globe for artists that capture the essence of Summer in their own inimitable style. Opening the album we have Sydney's Mooglepuff, with the wonderful nostalgic glow of her 'Subtropic Vision'. Faint Waves reports in from Missouri with the hazy, dreamy 'Windward Dream' and Budapest duo Pleasure Voyage return to the label with their ode to summer 'Endless Days'. From Los Angeles, Midnight Mystery Club up the energy through their organic and groove-laden a 'Church In Ibiza'. Over in Warsaw, ZAL delivers a slice of irresistible warm electronica on 'Simple & Easy'. Nicolas Kotowicz presents the late night house jam 'Ce Soir' from Russia, while the UK is represented by Lucky Sun's languid beach chiller 'Ocean Dreams' and Desert Island Disco's smooth italo-house 'Te Revoir'. Rounding off the album falls to transatlantic due Tomas Malo and Joe Morris in their Acolyte guise with the anthemic, deep house 'Shame'.

'House Music legends David Morales and Timmy Regisford join forces on a mesmerising slice of Afro House featuring South Africa’s top songbird, Toshi. ‘NINI’, which means 'Until When’, is ripe with magical Afrocentric vibes and enchanting vocals from Toshi, which carry a strong message to follow wisdom, sung in Xhosa (the beautiful language of South Africa's Nguni). The package includes a lush, hypnotic afro groove from Timmy, where Toshi’s vocals flow over a feast of earthy drums and melancholic synth waves, and David amps up the energy, injecting a DIRIDIM vibe, where emotive key melodies, sweeping synths and infectious beats underpin this beautiful song.

Not really needing an introduction, New York House Music legends David Morales and Timmy Regisford have each been shaping and contributing to the dance music world for more than 35 years! And there is no sign of either of them stopping any time soon as they both continue to uphold busy gig schedules and create some of their best music to date.

Cape Town’s Toshi Tikolo is one of the leading voices on the Afro House scene. Her distinctive tones have graced some of the biggest tracks the genre has seen in recent years, including ‘BUYA’ with Black Coffee and ‘Ngeke’ with Armonica including the massive remix from Andhim. She released her debut album 'Ubuhle Bendalo' and has worked with some heavyweight producer names including David Morales, Stones & Bones, Afro Warriors, Fabio Aurea, Saint Eno, DJ Kabila, Lemon & Herb and many more, alongside her solo tracks. Autumn 2019 saw the release of her collaborative album with Timmy Regisford ‘Life Music’ on Quantize Recordings to great acclaim.'

International Dj, producer and remixer Jonathan Douglas Braverman, known as Ladies On Mars, has been on a musical journey since the conception of 2006 of his successful Minimal Techno music project. The artist born in Buenos Aires has accumulated numerous achievements, although it was his 2007 hit "We Are Not Lesvicon", published on Xela Digital, which really impelled Ladies On Mars to be in the eye of the storm, reaching within the TOP 40 of Beatport's Minimal. Another of his great achievements was in 2009 when he won the Beatport contest for remixing the song "Peace" by the group Depeche Mode, his remix became the best-selling band in Beatport for several years.

Since then, the native of Argentina has continued to evolve, mutating its sound, perfecting from the Minimal Techno of its beginnings to the Tech-House, current Funky House. Remixing artists like Aka Aka and Home Video. Editing his music on labels such as Prison Entertainment, Emi Music or his own label: Boom Zwapp Records.

In addition to having an impressive subsequent catalog of solo and collaborative productions, Ladies On Mars has also offered remixes for numerous top-level musicians, including: AKA AKA, Daniele Petronelli, Min & Mal, Home Video, etc ...

Outside of the studio, Jonathan is a touring DJ who is in great demand and his daily agenda is fuller. Taking their Marsian sound and a unique mix of spatial sounds with a lot of groove mixed with Funk, House and Tech-House directly to the dance floor in some of the best clubs, festivals and events in the world in countries, including: Germany, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina.
