My cover of "Til I Die" by the Beach Boys, written by the genius Brian Wilson. He wrote this when he was in the depths of depression, and as I have been in a quite serious battle with it lately myself, this has been a sort of theme song for me. Don't worry - I'll be fine! We all go through this from time to time. In the meantime, enjoy this. I believe it is one of the most lush productions I've done yet.

Here's my take on the Stylistics classic "People Make The World Go Round" written by Thom Bell and Linda Creed. 

I've always loved this tune and wanted to do something a little different with it rhythmically...Lots of little time signature changes in here. 
I decided to go with my sampled Rhodes rather than the real one because I like the way it "speaks".

This piece was inspired by a single vocal phrase sampled from jakoB haQ's online FaceTime chat on thesoundtestroom.com. It also includes a few phrase samples from another of my favorite music technology podcasts, Sonic Talk on Sonicstate.com. Heavily chopped up and processed, I believe the original speakers were Rich Hilton, Dave Spiers, and Mark Tinley, who have been some my favorite online music technology personalities for many years. 

iPad apps include: TC-11, Animoog, iMaschine, Synthmaster Player, and iFretless Bass.

Desktop apps include: Native Instruments Kontakt and UVI Workstation (one instance).

Real instruments: Fender Stratocaster guitar and saxophone.
