Casey "3PM" Clark ~ Black Magic

Born and raised in Chicago, Louis Yoelin moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue a career in songwriting/composition and to earn his M.A. degree in music composition from UCLA.

Since Louis's move, he has been following his dream. He has had several of his songs placed on the NBC soap opera "Passions". He has also collaborated with Grammy Award-winning producer Thom Russo, writing songs for various European artists on Universal Records.

Louis has won many songwriting contests, including first place in the 2003 Unisong International Songwriting Contest in the "Rock" category, first place in the 2004 Curbside Records Songwriting Contest, and first place in the 2005 Simply Songwriting Music Festival Songwriting Competition.

Louis considers his musical strengths to be his prolific versatility, and his melodic inventiveness. He is fluent composing in any style, from pop, rock, rap, hip-hop, and country, to jazz and classical.l He has gotten over 50 of his songs in t.v. shows, films, and commercials.

Louis is a classically trained composer. Studied composition privately with Pulitzer prize winning composer Augusta Read Thomas. Has a master’s degree in music composition from UCLA.

Louis Yoelin ~ Cat Voodoo

Yotam Rosenbaum is a composition graduate from Berklee College of Music who co-founded Earbits. He began playing music at the young age of five years old and continues to make award winning music for television, movies, and commercials. As the co-founder of Earbits, Yotam is interested in how he can keep music easy to produce, fun to listen to, and simple to find.

Yotam Rosenbaum is an award-winning drummer and composer. The son of a clarinet player and the youngest of four brothers, all musicians themselves, Yotam seemed destined for a life in music. By the age of six, he was taking piano lessons and singing in a professional choir. Before long, he was studying trumpet and drums as well. He continued on to study at the Rubin Academy of Music High School in Jerusalem and The Rimon School of Music in Tel-Aviv before moving to the U.S, where he attended the world-renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, graduating magna cum laude.

Yotam's talent and accomplishments have not gone unnoticed. This past year, he was commissioned by the American Composer Forum to compose a new piece for the Belladonna Baroque Ensemble. In addition, he received the Richard Levy Award for Outstanding Musicianship, as well as the Berklee World Tour Scholarship. Most recently he won the ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Award.

Yotam Rosenbaum ~ Dark

Jason Scavone's voice is soaked with excitement and anticipation. His hurried tone sounds as though he's talking to me while on the phone in the middle of an afternoon jog. He's a bit more chatty than he was the first time we talked in 2007 about his Charlotte band The Noises 10. It could be his nerves, after all. Scavone's girlfriend is due to go into labor at any time and while this conversation is more focused on giving birth to a debut album with his rock band The Hot Gates, his mind is probably on his first foray into fatherhood. But there's also a sense of relief that comes across -- relief that both events have finally reached the due date.

Jason Scavone ~ The Ghost

Stefon Taylor a.k.a. BIONIK started playing music at age 12 and began his professional career working at Chicago Recording Company in 1991. While at Chicago Recording Company, BIONIK was trained by Peter Mokran and worked with artists such as: R. Kelly, Aliyah, The Winans Family, Smashing Pumpkins, Izzy Straddlin, Sting, James Cotton and Junior Wells. His ability in the studio led him to the United Kingdom where he engineered, programmed and produced four albums for Island/Independiente recording artist John Martyn between 1996 and 2000. BIONIK relocated to Boston in 1998, where he continued honing his engineering and production skills working with many artists such as: ED O.G., Tamara Savage, Lady Saw, Everton Blender, Johnny Osborne and Frankie Paul. Moving to Los Angeles in 2001, BIONIK engineered and produced projects for Far*east Movement, Ice-T, Too $hort, Griffen, Aceyalone, Kool Keith, Volume 10, Baby Bash and Lil’ Rob to name a few. BIONIK’s music and production is also featured in many movies, video games and television shows including: Lottery Ticket, Fast and the Furious 3: Tokyo Drift, C.S.I.: NY, The “L” word, Las Vegas, “So You Think You Can Dance”, The Castle, Lincon Heights, Dirt, Skinz, Entourage, Gossip Girl, and EA Sports videogame “Madagascar.”

BIONIK ~ Ashes (Full Explicit)

While much has been made of his vital role in the founding and shaping of the ReBirth Brass Band, Kermit Ruffins has become a capable and talented bandleader, writer, singer and musician in his own right. While ReBirth and Kermit were once considered synonymous, the amicable split prompted tremendous growth for both operations; ReBirth continues to roll, allowing their music to take them on reckless thrill rides into the funky netherworld, while the romantic Ruffins has stopped rambling in favor of structure and swinging out. After leaving ReBirth, Ruffins formed the Barbecue Swingers, was signed to a solo deal by Justice Records and released three CD's that have become jukebox staples in the Crescent City.

Though Ruffins works with a core group consisting of Corey Henry (trombone), Emile Vinette (piano), Kevin Morris (upright bass) and drummers including Shannon Powell and Jerry Anderson, his records have featured many legendary and unsung heroes of New Orleans jazz. All three albums have been extremely well-received in the local market and have led to successful tours around the world.

Kermit Ruffins ~ Make Way For The Rebirth

Caplan and his talented band - The Casual Smokers - will undoubtedly garner review after review build around on his voice, but even when they deliver the roughest of bar room stomps, there is a surprising depth and musicianship to the songs. Stand up bass, classical trained strings (violin and cello), flute, sax and terrific use of call and response sing-along choruses all help Caplan and the Casual Smokers stand out from the masses influenced by the same sounds.

They recorded a few songs in The Chapel at the University of King's College in Halifax and mixed them the next day. Considering the tight time lines, the result - three songs: Conduit, Beautiful and Stranger - capture the energy of the band and show the potential of the upcoming full length they have slated for later in the year. The five minute Stranger finds the band moving at a restrained pace, heightening the tension before Caplan's voice explodes and dares the strings and flute to balance the effort. Beautiful shows what happens when Caplan opts for a smoother, more melodic delivery and shows the band is more than a one trick pony.

Currently residing in Sweden, Lain was born in Poland where he learned to play piano at a very early age. In 1997 he began to take his melodymaking knowledge from the piano to the computer. He is also known for his unusual art designs and use of music trackers.
