The year is 2023. A dark gloom looms over Vancouver, a sobering reflection of the current state of planet Earth. Artificial Intelligence, now sentient, has forced humanity into living in the shadows. As a race, it is unclear how much time human beings have left. It is imperative to live fully while time permits.  

On November 24, the underground subculture known as Higher Education calls on all cyberpunks and rebels to gather and do what is expressly human: Dance. Sweat. Feel. Connect. Unplug.

This was the set I put together to open the evening. After 13 years, I feel like Vancouver finally has a proper venue with the Vault. Everything was perfect: the setup, the sound, the visuals and the crew. Thank you to all my friends for supporting me on this special night.

What a treat to play my first Woodstove set. This was also my first time DJing on the "silent disco" headsets. It definitely kept me on my toes. I needed to put the headset on to hear the bass in my tracks to maintain my stoke and then I confused the disco headsets with my actual headphones while mixing at least 4-5 times. 

Love to all my sister DJs out there who shared the stage with me and for all my die hard fans and hype guys – you know who you are ;) xxx

The connection and energy of a room full of loved ones is truly unique and my most favourite to play for and with. My second Friends Club and my 5th Higher Eduction event, these folks have been so good to me. This time they slotted me at 1am, after Henry Pope absolutely crushed the dance floor. It was quite the scene to walk into. I was hella nervous. The collection of people at this event was divine. The perfect combination of kind, open-hearted, beautiful, sexy, connected and fully self-expressed – and chomping at the bit for more. When I started I barely looked up from behind the decks, but I felt nothing but love and support oozing from my family of friends and by the 4th track we were rolling. The time flew by and then I got to hand the decks off to the world-class, and one of my favourites: Just Emma. They played a divine set that carried us into the wee hours of the morning. It was all pure magic. Thank you Higher Ed xx

It was a special treat to come to the edge of the world and play for such a sultry, hearty and sexy crew of people. Custom speakers, a brand new home and a community that knows how to bring it. I got swirled up in their magic and had an absolute blast with this set. Thank you so much for having me!
