We proudly present the first all-english episode of Nachtigall Podcast.

For the international day of feminist empowerment we talked with @dabelka artist about her early beginnings in the scene of Electronic Music in Novosibirsk, Russia (or USSR by that time). 

Masha reflects about the interaction of state repression and arts and the discrimination of women in Electronic Music, which made her initiate Viennas first female-led DJ-school with a non-exclusive focus on women called Turntablista.

Willkommen bei unserer nigelnagelneuen Flausettensammlung. Sie ist noch ein bisschen schüchtern und auch noch ein bisschen klein, aber das wird schon noch, waren wir ja alle mal. Alle zwei Wochen lädt sie ab jetzt eine*n Freund*in ein und erweitert ihren Musikgeschmack.
Die erste Flausette kommt von @eli-async. Der wohnt jetzt schon eine Weile in Göttingen, ungefähr so lang wie die Pandemie schon geht, yay! Davor hat er sich in Konstanz die Nächte um die Ohren geschlagen und dafür gesorgt, dass andere das auch machen können. Weil das in Göttingen während Corona natürlich nicht ging hat er die ganze unverhoffte Freizeit dazu genutzt mal ein bisschen über den Technotellerrand zu gucken und so gibt es hier tollerweise eine Stunde Musik aus verschiedenen Genres und nicht nur bumm-bumm-bumm. Ohne jetzt natürlich bumm-bumm-bumm Musik kritisieren zu wollen, die ist natürlich auch schön und hat auf jeden Fall ihre Daseinsberechtigung. Aber ihr merkt, wir schweifen ab, holt euer Strickzeug, lehnt euch zurück und sperrt die Lauscher auf, viel Spaß. <3
