First song I am posting in 2024!

This is what I wrote in 2013 when I first thought about posting Nothing But (The Sound) but decided to take it down from the cloud short after. 

"Nothing But (The Sound)" is Plastic Inevitable's first song since 2011! Plastic Inevitable is Marty Procaccio, AKA Blankets, working the sound and Sneekie San Salvador tweaking the sound. The recording for this song began in 2011 in the bedroom recording studio of Marty in Santa Clara California using GarageBand and a whole bunch of pedals. The song was completed in 2013 with vocals recorded in Sneekie San Salvador's mobile Toyota recording unit.

Now it is 11 years later...

I am amazed that I found the vocal stems. I had to look though an old hard drive to find them. I did not feel like digging through more old hard drives for the original track stems. Big thanks to Russell for taking the time to mix the vocals and master the track. I told Russell, when I mixed the original instrumental I was listening to a lot of shitgaze bands at the time. 

May you find many gems when you dig into your past.

Joyeux Anniversaire. Erik Satie was born on this date May 17 in 1866.

In 1887 when he was 21, and before his famous Gymnopodies and Gnossiennes had been completed, Erik Satie composed this third Sarabande as one of three he wrote for piano. At the time he was an impoverished conservatory dropout making his living as a piano player in bohemian taverns and cabarets like Le Chat Noir. The Sarabandes were not published until 1911 with the support of Ravel who also introduced and performed the second Sarabande in concert in 1911. Here i've arranged the third Sarabande for 2 guitars doubled. Hope you enjoy the mystery and captivating harmony that attracted me to it.

I have done many duets with Nat and every time it’s been a pleasure we have created many special moments.
Marry Me In Vegas was part 1 this is part 2 after Vegas with Real Good Trouble. 
Months after the non event of the grand marriage. He missed her after jilting her and not making the flight he felt like he needed to explain he just wasn’t ready for what she wanted. 
He never had the chance as she disappeared, shutdown her socials, changed her number and left.
Months passed without contact and then this phone called happened.
