Lady Of Mars – London’s latest female-fronted indie rock band, trading on emotionally charged lyrics, soaring vocals, driving beats and classy guitar work. Taking influence from the new wave movement of the late seventies, Lady Of Mars have set about creating an all-inclusive world that empowers the lost and uplifts the low.

Blending the classic influences of Patti Smith, Stevie Nicks, and The Smiths with the power of modern rock, the band gigged hard throughout 2025 under the name ‘Bowen’ including Festival shows at 2000 Trees, Lakefest, Sign Of The Times and The Gathering Sound. They also opened for diverse acts like Don Broco and The Damned.

The first official release is ‘Black & Blue’, fizzing with anger & aimed at empowering women who find themselves in an abusive domestic situation. The song is released on all streaming services on Friday 30th May.
