Bear witness to the karma that's bathed in the same anguish
On opposite ends of time but raised in the same language
Geometric symmetry locked in ever the same statements
Rebel curvature's promises of golden chains weightless

I am speaking to the graceless fathers who stained pages
Of the wild young animals braying in strange mangers
And seeking a home for the colors of every one of these angels
Made orphaned by minds unable to break their plainness

This is the end of the flat landscape where the tides continuously wash aimless
And the desert sun sends them back to the sky by the baked day's end
Because deep underground a collision is coming to crack the spine the tame lent
And shake the earth hard enough to crash upward a whole slew of new mountain ranges

Giving rise to a topography echoing of strange dangers
A jungle riddled with stalking shapes appearing at all angles
The terror of mystery unknowable by even the bravest agents
That will be born from the corpses where the old worlds lay wasted

We will summon unto ourselves a new eden across the lost pavement
Now broken by vines and roots that lay under a rich canopy shaded
Uniting all capable of seeing the far future where our fate sits
And together terraform the earth by the very biology it was made in
