I'm surprised by how fast I wrote this. I actually had the idea and tune in my head yesterday at night, just before falling asleep, and now I'm not sure whether it's the same that I actually recorded today but I sure like it nevertheless! Though I'm sad it turned out to be only 2:22 min T_T

Now, I'd be curious, let's do it the other way round, what do you think this song is about?

Help Me, I'm A Doctor

This is the first track in a series I have been working on. As I keep saying, I've been trying to reconcile my downtempo stuff with the stuff I write as one half of Refix (a dubstep act). Also, coming from a garage background, I really like the 'bump' of the rhythm and the bpm, not to mention the freedom the genre gives you with regards to sounds and programming.

One thing I have to say is that, like my exploration into the world of Moombahton, I know I haven't hit the genre head on. It is is inevitable that I'm going to put my own slant on it! I'm too old to be completely ripping off genres purely to get some kind of recognition. I think...

Anyhow, it's been really good to get back to working (albeit remotely) with the singer, Emily Zuzik. Turns out since getting cuts on Moby's last records meant she's been one very busy lady! Fingers crossed she'll work on a couple more soon!.

The first recollection of Viking music we have was found carved on a small piece of wood from the 14th century in Denmark, were we can read the first bars of the song "I Dreamed a Dream". It may have been an old tune.

I tried to turn that inscription into music, but it's most probably wrong. I still like it, so voilà!
