We are glad to represent the first album by local artist Lambrea previously known for Laes compilations. Stylistically balancing on the edge of pacific leftfield and melodic broken beats his music immerses in a state of inner paradise and tranquility. Plenty of sounds with lyrical inspiration were collected while taking time in urban suburbs and woods nearby.

Our third album begins a series by Laes artists. This particular compilation from Suokas is dedicated to the Indian myth of White Island, a transcendental realm known in ancient Vedic texts as Shveta Dvipa. 

The Brahma Samhita defines the island as a square, each side of which symbolizes the basic values of human life: Piety (Dharma), Benefit (Arthak), Desire fulfillment (Ma) and Freedom (Moksha). 

It is positioned within a multifaceted crystal: "Ten copies are oriented towards the eight cardinal points of the Earth: East, South, West, North, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and Northwest. They point both upwards and down. The eight facets of the Earth are lit by eight gems, themselves representing eight perfections." The White Island is therefore a geometric projection of divine life – itself housed inside a crystal and turned simultaneously in ten principal directions. 

All tracks were recorded over five years between Petrozavodsk, Helsinki, Tromso and Peterhof. Acoustic urban space plays an equally important role. Revealing the modality of inner experience, Shveta Dvipa maintains a presence of spirit and subtle philosophy over time.

Passing through wires energy doesn't create voltage in our case, despite the potential difference. On the contrary, the electronics of the Karelian producer Ivan Luchkin cause a sedative effect, enveloping with airy euphoric melodies, entering into states of mental trance and empathic observation of the play of sounds. 

The intricate breakbeat discharged by granular refinements sends us to the world of royal 00’s IDM, when the best diamonds of electronic experiments of this genre forever remained. We present the 4th release with the self-titled album «Potential DifferenSe» and leave you within a joyful explorations.

Laes starts single series from the 18-minute meditative heavy opus. This improvised session of loops from acoustic instruments, drums and distorted violins was recorded live in the village. Since then the track has been played in the clubs and got massive resonanse. After five years of traveling through the floors and players, it is available to the listeners.
