Matter:4 brings into sharp focus that we've been doing this project for very nearly 5 years running now. It's so rewarding to still pick up new music, new artists and new sonics still after all this time.

As many of you know, the Matter project seeks to shine a light on the brighter, more colourful and more experimental side of the genre; while turning over stones on undiscovered new artists and experienced producers alike.

This year is no different. One of the elements this year we're particularly fond of is Falcon's 'Kosher'; an 8 minute piece of music, split into two equally spicy halves.

At In The Lab we like to release music that we find interesting, stuff we find expressive and worth sharing with the world.

With that in mind, please enjoy the offerings we've compiled this year.

Boom! We made it to top four, got handpicked by PHACE. This remix came together over a weekend sesh in an improvised cabin - mountain studio with / Facutum and yeah the result is sick. We played the original 140 in our B2B sets for quite some time so when we heard that there is a competition going on around this tune it was a "call of the nature” for us (pun intended).
