Her experimental DJ sets are creative fusions of different genres and styles. She invites her audience on a sonic journey beyond the boundaries of the ordinary, creating an atmosphere that is seductive and eerily intriguing.

Manuel Sékou is an audio/visual producer, assembler, viewer, collaborator and hoarder from Dresden, currently based in Cologne. He’s been attracting attention since 2016 with numerous audio works, live-sets and online radio-shows under the moniker @luxxuryproblems. Yet he’s complementing his musical output in the field of visual arts through several self-published books and exhibitions. His Sound has been published via @spa_recordings, @katharsislabel, @comicsansrec, @infinitoaudiolabel and @76666, to name a few. Hendrik Vogel *1982 is a Karlsruhe based scenographer, musician and media artist. In his audiovisual and spatial works, he explores the medium for its narrative qualities by emphasizing the profound influence of the creative process. The latest works are an invitation to reflect on our historical and sociological connections with media and the evolving relationship between society and technology. In his self released album (Sunday,2022) he scores the swiping mood mode (probably during Cv-19), by setting different moods from “ghostings” to “scrolling”,  ending with “you reached doom” which is a reminisence to the behavior of doomscrolling. His audiobook „Das schwarze Rechteck“ (2022) is a text-collage from the German romantic till today. An audio piece about overtaxing, the meaning of the fragment today and the origin of the rabbithole. „Postoned“ released on ENBEEZEE Records explores the act of daydreaming. With „The sound is the message“ (UNESCO City of Media Arts, 2022) he created a room installation in which the evolution of the sounds for communication and its amount today is discussed. And with “Entr’acte” he just published a composition for the silent movie bei René Clair from 1924. This summer „Screentime“ a brand new collaborative work with media artist Kilian Kretschmer which thematises self-reflection through digital media and ask how digital technologies influence our self-image. The video in collaboration with the Ballett of the Staatstheater will be part of the UNESCO City of Media Arts exhibition “Media art is here” from 15.08. till 15.09.2024. Hendrik studied scenography and media art at the Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) in Karlsruhe, worked as a research assistant for architecture at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and as a workshop lecturer for sound at the ZKM. From 2013 - 2018 he was responsible for the club management and booking of the Fettschmelze together with Jago DJ and laid the basis of many beautiful days and nights which were very inspiring and a great enrichment of the regional scene. He is still hosting Holidays on Mars a monthly radioshow via Querfunk Karlsruhe. We are happy to welcome him.

Most of what Till does in his life is related to music, be it as a promoter, writer, DJ or producer. In Bern based, as a musician he is part of various projects such as Colliding Fields or A Trillion Rah Sunns, as a promoter and DJ part of the Bollwerk crew and has released music on labels such as Traverse, Swim and Unvague. With his roots in the club culture, his music can go quite far nowadays: Compositions for dance & theatre pieces can become radically experimental, others as pop as never before. This mix is an assemblage of modern tones, mostly inspired by uk club music without being club music. It's a melancholic take on vibes ranging from experimental grime back to the fantastic early years of the almost forgotten genre called Weightless. Enjoy listening.

TALI aka Tali Bayer is an illustrator, artist and graphic designer based in Leipzig. Her passion for interdisciplinary working methods and collaborations can be found in many of her projects.
When performing as a DJ, TALI transitions between soothing soundscapes, abstract sounds, partly metallic, cold noises, calming rhythms, ambient, experimental tracks, and some balearic music.
Her mix for LAF is a cinematic journey through contrasting emotions and atmospheres. The ominous tones set the stage for a wave of destruction and renewal, creating a sense of tension. The incorporation of mechanical outer space sounds adds a futuristic and otherworldly element to the mix, transporting the listener to an unknown realm.

Ada Luvv is part of the @illusioncgn crew, which hosts a series of events at Gewölbe, Open Ground and Jaki in Cologne and a monthly show on @CallshopRadio Düsseldorf. She is also active in Stuttgart's nightlife as part of @notsoeasy_org, a young collective that has been organizing parties with a focus on musical diversity outside the club sound mainstream since 2022. The mix is all about warm, sun-soaked, nostalgic vibes. Expect hazy vocals and dub echoes weaving through post-punk, dub, and pop tracks. Enjoy listening.

Known under her pseudonyms @gaisma and @aka-tumsi and together with the Nomadic Playground collective, she is constantly pushing the boundaries of her artistic expression and captivating audiences with her authenticity and versatile talent. Alisa discovered her passion for music and dance early in life. Over the years, she has refined her artistry to explore profound themes such as the search for home, parental love, partnership and friendship. For LAfmusik, she presents a vinyl set that intertwines her past, present and creative inspirations with the essence of letting go and rediscovery. A mash-up of records she received as gifts during her last relationship, some tracks from Stuttgart's vibrant subculture scene and also 1 track of her latest EP "Mirrors Of The Cosmic Cinema" which was released on label "Treibender Teppich Records". 

Alisa adds "If you let go of love, it will rise again like a phoenix from the ashes".

As she walked her normal path home, she felt an eerie presence behind her, as if somebody was following her. She looked over her shoulder cautiously but couldn't make out any movement along the path she'd followed. Perhaps she was just being paranoid, she knew these streets well and had always felt safe on this journey. Nearing the corner of her street she began to pick up her pace, fumbling in her pocket for her keys. Before she reached the door, a heavy hand was placed firmly on her shoulder...

After stumbling across cross-continental project PALMS' first album, It's midnight in Honolulu, Love Pain Sunshine & Rain boss Bendedikt Frey decided to remix one of the duo's avant-garde post-pop cut 'Der König'. Originally released in 2008, the track is peppered with melancholia and a sense of longing, and features cryptic German-English vocals honouring the two halves of the project, Berlin's Nadja Korinth and New York's Ryan Schaefer. Frey's remix, which is set for release of LAFmusik, warps Nadja's vocals into stuttering siren-esque transmissions, which sit atop rumbling dystopian rhythms and squelching acid lines.

In 2008, Palms, the cross-continental collaboration project between Berlin’s Nadja Korinth and New York’s Ryan Schaefer, released «Der König» on their first album, «It’s midnight in Honolulu». «Der König» is a weird avantgarde post-pop track full of longing, wistfulness, melancholia, and cryptic German-English vocals.  2016 Menqui stumbled over the track on the Austrian social satire series «Altes Geld» and made a few small, respectful adjustments to «Der König».
