Our second track off of our upcoming compilation comes from  Morillo. The solo project of multi-talented drummer and musician Zach Morillo, his music is self-described as a dance-floor ready world-influenced blend of hip hop dub and bass. His track "S.S.S." is a sexy blend of dub and R&B, creating silky vibes that conjure thoughts of constellations and steamy star-lit encounters.

Cosmos

This track was made in Portland in AfroQBen's studio. Russ and I were talking about how we were feeling electronic influenced RnB and eventually decided to make a song in that vein. It had been a while since Russ (who I used to have a side project with) and I collaborated, but the song flowed quickly and the bulk of it was created in one evening. Russ did the majority of the beat production I a helped steer the arrangement and of course did all the vocals. AfroQBen kept the vibes high in the studio and offered up guitar licks and live percussion to round out the tune. This is definitely one of my favorite tracks on the album and I feel like it showcases my current sound pretty well.
