Icarus continue their recent run of form with their first single of 2023. ‘Catch Your Breath’ further demonstrates the clubbier side of the duo’s sound, by combining a hypnotic spoken word vocal with rolling bass and expressive, shimmering synth lines.

“We’d been working on various different versions of this record for months! We felt the instrumental had something special about it, but we couldn’t seem to find the right vocal, so we ended up experimenting ourselves. Once we’d got the spoken word part over the bassline, we knew we were on to something and the rest fell into place from there.”
