Featuring the ethereal vocals of Eli & Fur, “Far Away” combines tough driving percussion with dark, atmospheric low end. Keeping melodic subtlety in such a dancefloor focused track is no easy feat, but MANIK pulls it off in style. A real peak-time weapon in the right hands.

“Mulberry” is a bouncier affair, built around rising bass notes and crisp shuffling drums, once again wound together by atmospheric textures and an infectious melodic groove.

With a massive output of collaborations in the last couple of months with Tube & Berger, Paji, Flo MRZDK or Chemical Surf, it’s definitely time again for Juliet Sikora to bring her very own and long-awaited EP to your speakers! After her huge success being producing part next to Tube & Berger on “Come On Now (Set It Off)” last year, “Larrys Garage EP” consisting of two tracks is one of the most promising releases on the Kittball-catalogue for the first half of 2015. The title track grooves with a deep bass going with a female soul vocal and a cheering crowd which is something in accordance for the upcoming summer and Open Air-Season. “Tender Trip” is a small following to the underground sound of the 90’s tripping with a more classic base and acid-biased loops. All in one this is a package you should keep a strong eye on as it will for sure touch you more often the next months! 2015 is going to be a massive year for Juliet Sikora with an output of strong remixes for Lane 8, Notize & Fura and further collaborations with Tube & Berger, Nakadia and Berlin based Lars Moston!

2 Juliet Sikora - Tender Trip

Emanuel Satie returns once again with his energetic brand of house music for his third EP on Get Physical following last years ‘Gold EP’ and ‘Private Show EP’ earlier this year. The three-track EP titled ‘Free At Last’ showcases the young Germans talent for groove. Leading the EP, ‘Free’ relies on deep acid-y lines supported by itchy percussion. He’s draped a dramatic vocal over the top to give it a special organic and house-y touch. ‘Bottoms Up’ rides the energy wave further utilizing chopped and looped vocals to great effect. Underneath that we find a smooth sub bass line flexing its muscles beautifully. Finally ‘On Repeat’ bears a wildly organic and almost jungle vibe that is sure tokeep even the most challenging of dance floors at fever pitch. The almost tribal percussions temporarily give way soft and enchanting chords before letting the rhythm back in. All in all another striking EP from Emanuel Satie, proving he’s a special talent and one to watch.

The A-side tears it up with „Hartwood“, Rodriguez Jr.’s biggest hit to date. With a series of alternating and repetitive keyboard strokes and soulful lyrics bouncing on a thick velvet cushion of rich background base, this number is guaranteed to appeal to the industry’s most respected players. The B-side features Anja Schneider with a full out female power vocal number ironically titled, “Henry & Lars”. This track takes form from a very cuddly story that took place at BPM Festival in Mexico as Anja’s little guy and a stuffed animal named “Lars” found love and friendship in a little girl and her stuffed-animal she called “Henry”. And so the story went on…
