The band started when these four musicians arrived and met on an on-going jam session in Lobo, Batangas. These four musicians had been performing individually as sessionists for other bands before they met. They started merely tripping on the music they listen to: Rock, Funk, Blues, jazz and reggae Gaining good impression and reviews, their tripping turned into a series of serious performances that gave birth to a sound that is distinctly a signature of these four individuals that was later on called “Lagda”.

Mark Lledl Gamara (Bassist) is also a member of emporia, a Hardcore metal band; Myckell Jae Apostol (Guitarist) also a sessionist for other bands; Geovani Frane (Drummer) from Baganxa, an Acid Rock band; and Michael Salzsieder from Pixel and Eskandalo, Funk and Reggae bands.

A little Funk, a little blues, a little Rock and a little Jazz rolled into one. Lagda is a band that may have not yet recognized their genre yet, but for them it’s all about good music.

They are currently active in bar gigs in Metro Manila. Performing for productions like Lightbulb Productions, Pobre Chico etc.

The band is currently working on their original songs, High Again, Gonna’ be, Divided, Kalayaan and Iba ka Pinoy.
