Solo / Mute / Pan

This is a reinterpretation of the multi-channel sound installation Solo / Mute / Pan by Laurent Güdel and Olga Kokcharova, which was presented on two floors of the Centre Pasquart in autumn 2022. (find more information here: https://www.pasquart.ch/event/solo-mute-pan/) During the exhibition in Biel/Bienne, the two invited six artists (Jean-Philippe Gross, crys cole & Annette Schmucki, Caroline Profanter, Antoine Läng & Luc Müller) working at the interface between music and sound art to a residency with a concert. This method was adopted again for the edition, and this time Anita, Clara Alloing, Vincent Grimaldi and Mara Krastina were invited to create their own interpretation.

The box set comes in a pretty cardboard box and is accompanied by a text by Antonio Albanese, written as part of the project for this edition. (‘Journal de l’institut pour la recherche appliquée en êkhosémiotique post-humanisme’, 69 x 109 mm, 28pages, perfect binding).

LUV JONES RECORDS에서 KUMAPARK, DAMIAN, Young Vinyls, SUMIN에 이어 공식적으로 5번째 아티스트를 공개한다. 

 "SOWALL" 

드러머로 활동하고 있는 그녀는 어쿠스틱 재즈 트리오를 시작으로 일렉트로닉 밴드까지 3장의 리더작을 거쳐 자신만의 음악을 만들어 왔다. 
하지만 LUV JONES RECORDS 와의 시작은 드럼이 아닌 비트메이커로써의 "SOWALL"이다. 
그녀의 곡은 시작부터 끝까지 무척이나 정교한 동시에 자연스러운 다이나믹을 함께 표현해 내고있다. 화려한 것들에 기대 중요한것들을 놓치지 않았으면 하는 바램을 담고 있다는 SOWALL의 음악은 진부하지 않으며 서사적인 자신만의 색깔을 지니고있다. 

2016년 3월4일 Sound Cloud를 통해 공개되는 첫 곡 FDN(Fucking Don’t Know)은 쿠마파크의 베이시스트 구본암이 참여하여 더욱 단단한 사운드를 만들어 냈다.

LUV JONES RECORDS 소속 아티스트 비트메이커 "SOWALL" 이 2016년 4월 25일 Sound Cloud를 통해 두 번째 비트를 공개한다. 
<FAVORITE> 이라는 타이틀을 지닌 이 비트는 공감각적인 소스들이 어우러져 하나의 선명한 비트로 완성되었다. 
FAVORITE은 말 그대로 좋아하는 것, 하고싶은 것, 심장을 뛰게하는 것들을 잊지 말아야 한다는 주제를 담고 있다.
지난번  Sound Cloud를 통해 공개되었던 FDN을 비롯하여 본인의 이야기를 담은 비트들을 매월 정기적으로 공개 할 예정이며, 공개된 비트들의 퍼포먼스 영상 또한 선보일 예정으로 그 기대를 더하고 있다.

Apparat, aka Sascha Ring, will release “Krieg und Frieden (Music for Theatre)”, an album of music based on Sebastian Hartmann’s theatre production of Tolstoy’s War and Peace.

Sebastian Hartmann is considered one of the big innovators of contemporary German theatre, and asked Ring to contribute to this mammoth project, which was commissioned by the renowned German arts festival Ruhrfestspiele in Recklinghausen.

Noah, is a Nagoya-based female artist, whose popular works include her winning piece in Cokiyu’s “Your Thorn Remixes”.

Sela., is a 19 years old young producer that hails from California, US, who is known for his excellent production work for Kitty (Kitty Pryde), the 17 years old tumblr-wave rapper.

When Noah and Sela., these 2 talented young artists crossed path at flau label, this impressive split ep was born.

In this brilliant split , Noah constructed her own musical world by infusing the wonderful elements of R&B, Trip-Hop, electronic into the classical music she learned from her formal music education, with feathery voices, beautiful chorus, and charming piano touches painting the backdrop.
On the other side, the young Sela. boldly adopted the approach to deconstruct Hip-Hop/R&B music into simplest loops, and gracefully steering these loops to create his distinctive minimal ambient and imaginative night music.

Welcome to the new world created by these 2 amazingly talented young artists Noah and Sela., a world where construction and deconstruction occurred, a world where mellow downtempo music is tastefully conceived.
