Sharlese is a Seattle based DJ/Artist who was one of the founding members of False Prophet. A Coldwave, Industrial, Minimal Synth crew that grew out of Audiodrome, a monthly DJ night, hosted by Sharlese Metcalf and Kate Moore at Capitol Hill’s iconic Pony in 2013, Sharlese is also part of a weekly hour program, Mechanical Breakdown, on KEXP exploring the many different styles of various wave and synth genres, including, new beat, Italo, post-punk, EBM and more..

"The title is an obvious reference to the song "time travel" by the band blouse. Here though it is taken out of context and used as a reference to the current state of the music industry. Everything has gone digital, whether an iTunes download or a stream from a cloud somewhere but people are missing what's tangible. They miss liner notes, they miss artwork, they miss making mixes for their friends (whether on CD or cassette). Therefore people are gravitating more towards vinyl and even cassette. That being said, I wanted to merge the two worlds. I wanted to give the illusion of something tangible even though this will be heard on soundcloud or some form of digital music player. in the middle of the mix you can hear someone flipping the tape over. Even the first track has a warble to it as if it were recorded onto tape and then stored in a closet somewhere for decades. The opening track is from the 60's even, thus solidifying that illusion and telling a story without explaining verbatim. by the second track the warble blends in with the clarity of digital. But the tape hiss can be heard throughout the entirety of the mix. Even though some of these tracks may be new to listeners, I wanted to give them a familiarity. And for posterity I should note that none of the music on the mix was ever actually recorded to tape. It is all fabricated. an experiment in juxtaposition.

A Boston native, Dekkatess started DJing with Infra, the up-and-coming collective gaining traction for their intimate events and passion for quality techno. She has since relocated to Los Angeles where she remains a devotee of the underground. For the last 2 years, many of her sets have showcased her favorite hard techno and more downtempo industrial selections. With some deep-rooted influence from Tekno, acid-core, neo-rave and 90's trance, West is like sunshine and rainbows, spinning both popular hits and obscure gold to paint the dancefloor with candyfloss and bubblegum grooves that never fails to deliver the hard or the fast.

West always brings the high-energy, feel-good vibes with her mixing. She brings such refreshing uniqueness, that her style needed to be given a name of its own: Dream-Core.

Hailing from Los Angeles, MMDA makes a soundtrack for the dark underbelly of queer culture. With tortured vocals and hard beats, they summon you to gyrate, grind, throb on the dance floor. Coming from their respective noise and industrial backgrounds, Peter Kalisch and Aaron December’s MMDA is a departure from their earlier work, allowing them to explore dance grooves paired with visceral walls of sound that engulfs the listener. Never ones to shy away from the taboo, they dive headfirst into a world of sexual desire, rainbow capitalism, and all the terrors and delights of being a 21st century queer.

La cuarta edición de nuestro festival nos presentara 5 proyectos con diferentes estilos en lo que promete ser el mejor Synth Fest .

SHE PAST AWAY 
Es una banda  descrita como la "nueva ola oscura" en artículos y reseñas de todo el mundo. Su música compila elementos del lado oscuro, sensacional de los años 80, a menudo asociados con The Sister Oficina Mercy, The Cure, Joy Division, Clan Of Xymox, Grauzone, y DAF. SPA trae de vuelta esa era con el enfoque de hoy y las letras turcas que le da a la banda esa ventaja única.
   La banda se formó en 2006 y lanzó el EP digital "Kasvetli Kutlama" en 2010. El álbum debut "Belirdi Gece" fue lanzado en 2012  y "Narin Yalnızlık" LP in 2015. Regresa después de mas de 2 años con nueva produccion que sera lanzado en el primer semestre del 2019. 
Su actuacion en el 2017 en CDMX fue un exito total logrando un sold out.


MR. KITTY (SELF-DESTRUCTIVE SYNTHPOP)
Banda  formada  por los artista electrónico Forrest Lemarie e Isacc 
 Ross con ritmos variados que van del synth pop a la música dance y con una letras cargadas de emociones se presenta por segunda ocasión en nuestro festival para enceder la pista de baile con la energía que emana este duo.


CERVELLO ELETTRÓNICO 
Cervello Elettronico es el hijo del "cerebro eléctrico" del productor de tecno industrial David Christian, quien se ha hecho un nombre con numerosas presentaciones en vivo en todo el mundo que comparten espacios únicos y se abren en actos tan legendarios como Meat Beat Manifesto, Rhys Fulber. Adam X, y Lenny Dee. Su sonido único está profundamente arraigado en la música basada en muestras, pero ha explorado diferentes generaciones a través de los años, como EBM, Rhythmic Noise y, más recientemente, el techno minimal oscuro.


 WEIRD CANDLE 
Banda fundada en 2013 por Robert Katerwol & Kaleb Blagdon  
componen con  una variedad de sintetizadores digitales y analógicos y cajas de ritmos. ¡Weird Candle crea ritmos pesados sobre melodías oscuras bajo un velo de temas líricos como realidades paralelas bizarras, subculturas oscuras, lo oculto y una lujuria por todo lo que es EXTRAÑO!

Led Er Est emerged from a series of jam sessions that core members Shawn O’Sullivan and Sam De La Rosa started having in early 2007, using bass guitar, some cheap drum machines, and synths. They were inspired to record music largely by ’70s synth prog, and ’80s lo-fi electronic and industrial music. They recorded a number of songs at friend Will Burnett’s studio that fall. Their first officially released track was on the Wierd Records compilation, Analogue Electronic Music Vol II. Owen Hutchinson joined the band for their first live show at the Wierd party that December. In January of 2008, they released their first 7-inch, a split with Excepter member Jon Porkchop aka SSPS.

Throughout 2008 and 2009 they self-recorded their first album, Dust on Common, which Wierd Records released in Nov. of 2009. In spring of 2010, they toured Europe with Xeno and Oaklander, playing shows in the UK, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Italy. Subsequently they released a 7-inch and then the May EP on Captured Tracks. Led Er Est did a brief west coast run with Soft Moon last fall and just played SXSW. On stage and in the studio Led Er Est create a thick wall of atmospheric soundscapes using vintage analog recording devices, samplers, and synths using sci-fi soundtracks and cold wave as reference points.

Blackpotion (Fei Fei) is a DJ and live performer who's style conjures harsh industrial rhythms, EBM, and Techno that channels anger and agony. Her interest in connecting like minded artists, led her to collaborate on organizing various artistic events also performed in them to celebrate the subcultures influenced Electronic music in Bejing, China. The events featured artists that experimented with Industrial, Techno, Electronic Body Music (EBM), Post-punk, Coldwave. The successes of these events rippled to other cities and had her invited to perform at various venues across China. After she moved to Boston, she played Techno and industrial events organized by Infra and Ceremony.
She’s currently studying Electronic Production and Design (EPD) at the Berklee college of music. Blackpotion is also a Eurorack synth builder, and she enjoys experimenting with soundscapes, dark ambient, and different synthesis techniques combines both analog and digital technologies
