Prolific duo Years of Denial return to Veyl with another genre bending, dance floor ready EP titled Love Cuts.

Acting as a transit between 2023’s Suicide Disco 2 and the forthcoming Suicide Disco 3, Love Cuts explores the various angles of love - ranging from the digital to the forbidden, toxic to erotic and beyond. A blend of death rock, future goth, EBM and rave, we once again find the project’s poetic, powerful lyrics fusing with motorized beats and 4x4 rhythms.

Kicking things off is the shadowy, death rock inspired, "Devil in a Skirt", an infectious ballad about a temptress that may not be what she seems. Next up, "Affaire de Coeur" delivers body fuelled stabs which elegantly bleeds into "Hide & Sick", a more high energy cut, set to scorch the floor. "We Are The Party" keeps the pulse pounding with your next EBM anthem while "In Your Bed" shatters sonic boundaries and leaves things drenched in acid rave. "AI Lover" closes things out with more future goth rave energy which acts as both a warning and a desire for more.

Love Cuts builds on Years of Denial’s previous work while setting the stage for what’s to come. Commanding vocals and dominating beats transmit a powerful message of both the dystopian and euphoric. Remaining uncategorizable, the project continues to evolve their unique sound while burning a path toward the future.

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗮 @maria-torres-105761700 is  originally from Mexico City, active since 2021. She began her career as a music selector and cultural promoter when she joined the team at the Cvlt-o Mx | Cvlt-O platform, with whom she has collaborated on the creation and curating of alternative sound experiences and events. Since then, she has been part of multiple independent projects and offerings in Mexico City, Querétaro, and Pachuca, participating with collectives such as Terror Clash, Sintetika Secuencia, Misa Negra, Tanzqualität, Terror Glitch, Dissociados Media, Club Furies, Pagan Love Song, El Portal del Underground, and the Macabro Film Festival.

Her presence has resonated in various iconic spaces of the underground scene, including La Mezcalli, Black Centro Cultural, Dada X, Paranoid Visions, Donceles 58, Pulquería Los Insurgentes, Diablo Negro, among many others.

 Empusa's sound is characterized by a powerful blend of electronic rhythms ranging from the harsh and visceral to the melodic and profound, spanning genres such as EBM, industrial, TBM, indie dance, dark wave, and Italo disco. Her energetic and intense musical selection has led her to share the stage with renowned national and international artists, including Ductape (Turkey), Delectro (Colombia), L (L.A.), Invalid User, Graphiel (Colombia), El Ojo y la Navaja, Werner Karloff, Neolin, Energy Dance Lovers, among other prominent figures in the scene.

This months guest is Kutkh Jackdaw, a Scottish producer and DJ, now based in Brighton, whose productions and mixes take influence from a wide variety of different genres, from post-punk, darkwave and EBM, to synth, industrial and techno. He uses a range of techniques in his productions including a heavy use of inventive sampling, combined with extensive use of vintage 80’s hardware. 

Kutkh Jackdaw co-runs Brighton based event and podcast series Acid Reflux and is also a part of DarkDisco.org's operations team. Over the past few years, he has been spreading his unique combination of genres in cities such as Brussels, Berlin, Lisbon, London, Manchester and Glasgow.

Two years after their debut on Berlin’s Mannequin Records, Leroy Se Meurt return with their second album, Hier Pour Toujours. Far from nostalgic, the record mirrors the bleakness of our times: history repeats itself, the future looks dark, and the duo’s fierce electronic punk is its perfect soundtrack.

Drum machines set the march, synths flood the space, loops spiral to exhaustion, and vocals lead this orchestra of machines straight into the fire. Leroy Se Meurt sharpen their roots into something even more relentless—bold slogans, narrative fragments, and anthems made to be shouted together.

The album swings between floor-burners like “Pas Ma Croix”, “Du Plafond à La Terre”, and “Alevlere Karşı”, and darker, slower cuts like the intimate title track “Hier Pour Toujours” or the heavy incantation “Encore”. Along the way, it flirts with EBM, furious punk energy, cinematic synthscapes, and moments of unexpected clarity.

Hier Pour Toujours isn’t any more optimistic than their debut—but it still insists on belief. The end hasn’t come yet, and maybe, just maybe, there’s still light waiting on the other side.

Taken from the Italian phrase for computer that literally translates to electronic brain, Cervello Elettronico is the electronic musical act founded by David Christian [aka Snarf]. 

Influenced by 80s Industrial and 90s Electronica, the project's inception in 2001 contributed to a new underground scene growing in the New York City area. Several demos and self released EPs were sold and openly distributed throughout the internet before the the act landed it's first live show supporting Manufactura and Terrorfakt in the spring of 2004 at NYC's legendary Albion night. 

Since 2004, Cervello Elettronico has been experimenting with dance beats in front of audiences all over the world in new and interesting ways sharing the same stage with various musical acts as Meat Beat Manifesto, Esplendor Geometrico, Snog, Haujobb, Noisex, Terrorfakt, P.A.L. , and Combichrist.

Ida Mandato was born in a small town in Calabria, Italy in 1989. Seduced by music and art in general, she moved to Rome where she had the chance to open up to more new experiences. She studies History of Art at the university and at the same time takes her path behind the console with the Crew Female Cut in 2013 and undertakes collaborations with the Animal Social Club where she become a resident after a year. As Ida's technique refines and increases her ability to express herself through music becomes increasingly known and appreciated in the underground clubs of Italy's capitol. She travels between Rome and Berlin, and enriches her sound with the exquisite refinement typical of the Eternal City, ranging from ambient, experimental, dark techno sounds to the most raw and violent industrial sounds inspired by a very modern and fervent Berlin. She has dozens of collaborations. At Resident of the Resonance project, she played alongside important artists such as Front 242, always managing to make her mark.
