The Upload

This tune was composed for our winner demo at Datastorm 2014. The tune was used for a huge sideways scrolling hires bitmap and the first thing to appear was a giagantic Fairlight logo (one of our three groups) and as they have their "theme" I decided that it would be pretty fun to have that theme sound first in the tune. Then I ended the theme by holding the last note and then making it fade into a THX kinda effect to let people know that they should expect entertainment now.

So when the music kicks in, our OFFENCE logo starts to flash... but check out the demo yourself, and you will see what I mean.

The name for the tune was easy, as the final screen of the scroller shows a text we meant very much: WE ARE ALL CONNECTED... as in, all C64 sceners/fans are connected.. we share this hobby and fun with this old piece of hardware. C64 forever! :-)

Russia based artist Corrupted Machines (born Albert Elster) debuts on JST with 'Nocturnal' and what an impressive first outing this turned out to be too!

Mature writing, well balanced moods, attention to detail and good production are some of the characteristics that immediately stand out from 'Nocturnal'. With seven original tracks which move between Synthwave, Hard Rock/Metal and Cyberpunk and a surprise Robocop remake (available as exclusive bonus track on Bandcamp only), Corrupted Machines is setting the bar high with his debut and we're definitely excited for 'Nocturnal' as well as for what the future holds for this new and very talented artist.

'You cannot hide from yourself, even in the darkest alleys of a huge metropolis. You are the outcast of a generation but you can try to become someone else.
