MÀ, est un terme japonais qui évoque les différentes variations subjectives du vide. Celui qui relie deux objets, deux êtres, deux phénomènes. C’est cet espace, cet intervalle dense, que Marie Cécile Hanin, initiatrice du projet et Pasqua Pancrazi ont choisi d’explorer.

L’une, multi-instrumentiste, écrit, compose et chante des textes en français et en anglais, l’autre est producteur de musique électronique. Avec MÀ, ils bousculent leurs influences respectives et cherchent un point d’équilibre entre leurs deux univers. De cette quête émerge un premier album « La Traversée », composé de 10titres.

D’une pop épurée avec “Âmie Sœur” ou “Dominance” aux odes new wave de “Yellow” et “A Forest” en passant par des titres plus electronica comme “Mue” ou “Dessein”, l'univers riche et captivant de Marie Cécile et Pasqua vous conduira dans une épopée, sur un fil permanent entre l’ombre et la lumière.

MÀ - La Traversée

Orso is an contemporary artist from Ajaccio who explores various forms of artistic expression, initiating his musical journey with an intriguing experimental approach.
After navigating his innovative sonic waters, he synthesizes part of his research in this first EP of five tracks, fusing experimental music, indietronica, dark wave and English-speaking pop, and thus transforms his experiences into more accessible music, inhabited by his captivating voice.

This EP invites you to discover the very essence of Orso's creativity, transformed into an accessible and gripping musical experience. His undeniable talent and artistic evolution mark the beginning of a new era for him, and we look forward to sharing this unique experience with you.
The EP "Terms & Conditions" is a reflection on our civilization, offering a gripping critique of consumable culture and post-social network alienation.
Through its five carefully orchestrated tracks, the listener is invited to undertake an emotional and intellectual journey. A journey that begins with "Unreal Moment", an immersion in organic sound material, evoking authentic sensations and an almost palpable intimacy. The exploration continues with “Dancing Girl”, a rhythmic and melodic rise in power which leads to a reflection on otherness, a look at our hyper-connected solitude.
Each title seems like a piece of a puzzle, leading to deep introspection. "To Yourself" seems to touch on the personal conscience, while "Tell You Why" attempts to find answers as to our motivations and the reasons underlying our actions.
Finally, the EP culminates with "Follow the Wind", a transcendent and liberating electronic ode, inspiring one to break free from the chains of social conformity and find one's own wings, a powerful and inspiring conclusion to this musical journey.

Autel est le premier disque de Stéphanie Ceccaldi, et c'est la troisième sortie du label Lake of Confidence. C'est un EP de musique électronique, marqué à la fois par le clubbing et la contemplation, la house et une certaine forme de nostalgie. Il est composé de deux morceaux originaux méditatifs et chaleureux que sont "Disarm" et "Unchain", assortis d'un remix signé Aksel Schaufler alias Superpitcher, figure majeure du label Kompakt. On y retrouve le style caractéristique de l'Allemand, sa façon presque kraut-rock de suspendre le groove dans les airs et de ralentir les choses pour mieux les élever. Chaque titre de cet EP nous invite, sans jamais l'imposer, à sortir un moment de soi-même, pour découvrir une joie et une paix qui dépassent la subjectivité


Stephanie est une compositrice et productrice originaire de Corse. Passionnée de musique électronique depuis les années 90, elle évoluera naturellement en tant que DJ, principalement à Paris, avant de revenir chez elle, en Haute-Corse, où elle se consacre depuis à la production d'une musique influencée par la house, l'ambient et la pop (ascendant new wave). Une décennie d'explorations sonores plus tard, avec Pasquà Pancrazi et Marc Sauveur Costa, elle participe à la création du label Lake of Confidence, établi à Bastia, et met la touche finale à son premier EP, "Autel ».

AUTEL (« Altar ») is Stephanie’s heartfelt debut, released on new label Lake of Confidence. This EP is a captivating electronic infusion of ambient, house and echoes of the 80’s english new wave (we think of A.R. Kane, Art of Noise, Tears for Fears, Human League ("Dare" period) or New Order). It is composed of two original tracks, « Disarm » and « Unchain », accompanied by a remix from German electronic music hero Superpitcher. 

The music is an invitation to be fully present in the moment and listen to ourselves with awareness. The track "Disarm" is an uplifting tonic for the soul and could not have come at a more fitting time, encouraging the letting go of fear. 
Stephanie's grounded voice and the tender tones of the music take us on a liberating journey and reminds us of what is important in life - to move beyond ourselves and embrace joy. The captivating "Unchain" and the Superpitcher remix of the track, are both powerful guides for deep contemplation. Each beat is a metaphor of the breath of life, space and the impressive vastness of this extraordinary mystery we live in. 



Stephanie made a name for herself as a dj in Paris for a period of over 10 years before returning to Corsica, her home island, where she now devotes herself to music production. The roots of her musical style are deeply entrenched in the lands of pop, house and ambient music, all genres that to her help reflect our human desire to express the yearning for something more. Or something less ?

PREMIERE: ØrsØ - Follow The Wind (Pasqua Pancrazi Remix) [Lake of Confidence]

With headquarters located in beautiful Bastia, France, Lake Of Confidence is a “laboratoire sonore” focused on providing high-quality electronic music based on sensibility. Genre is not important – emotion is. A quick stroll through its catalog and you will grasp the concept. In it, music to dance, reflect, think, rethink, and dream. Deepness and groovy walk hand in hand through Experimental, Electronica, Ambient, New Wave, Drone, Post-Punk, Indie, House, and Techno cuts. Caveat emptor: Expect the unexpected, though.

For its forthcoming brick on the wall, the colourful French label welcomes back Ajaccio’s mayor ØrsØ and his “Terms & Conditions”, this time fancily remix-clad to impress. Originally released last December, the EP was, per request of its architect, twisted and contorted by skilled and talented contractors: North Frequency Canal, Misty Dey, Berthe, Skahr, Pasqua Pancrazi, and… ØrsØ himself, who could not resist the temptation of coming up with another version of his very own work. Bold!

The track we selected to premiere/review was properly, yes, twisted and contorted by Paris-based virtuoso Skahr. In his vision, “Dancing Girl” had to be an acid and introspective theme, characteristics which competently replaced the progressive and stirring aura of the original, resulting in an insightful avant-garde interpretation.
