A few months back I woke up to a gruesome story that was all over the internet. A group of young men were profiled by people known to them and then lynched to death by the same individuals under false claims that these men were cattle rustlers... I never knew any of the deceased personally but it broke my heart into a million pieces because these youth had dreams and families that cared for and looked up to them. That could be any of us. That could be you, that could be me. It is a known fact that it's open season on young men and women in this country. 'The Wire' is an acknowledgement of the need to raise awareness of the fact that they're coming for us because our mere existence is a threat to the powers that be. We, the youth ARE the future. Remember that.

A city poised precariously between obnoxious opulence and heartbreaking hardships. 
Most people in Nairobi are one life-changing emergency away from slipping back to indigence,
