Chitrakoot is a soft downtempo track built around tabla, sitar, and bansuri, inspired by the sacred land where Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman spent about 11 years, 11 months, and 11 days of their 14-year vanvaas.

Chitrakoot was the calm heart of the exile, a period of peace, prayer, and reflection before the more turbulent chapters of the journey began.

The music channels Chitrakoot’s divine energy, offering a tranquil and devotional atmosphere that reflects its deep spiritual heritage.

I’m Lakshay Kuhar, a Music Producer and Sound Engineer from India.

I focus on sound design and creative sampling, building tracks that are detailed, textural, and driven by emotion. I studied Music Production and Sound Engineering at Point Blank Music School in London, but a lot of what I do comes from instinct and years of just listening deeply.

I’ve DJ’d across clubs and venues, which gave me a sense of how music moves people. But my real space is the studio—that’s where I break things apart, reshape sounds, and put together ideas that feel honest to me.

Genre doesn’t matter much. I care more about groove, atmosphere, and the little moments that make a track stick.
