Lal and The People are a Blues Rock band from India, right now based in Pune. The principal songwriter of the band Lal, being influenced by Blues music since an early age, formed the band in the summers of 2014 in his hometown of Bhopal.
The band has released an internationally well received EP called Bad Case Of Blues, tunes from which have been played on radio stations in North America(Mid Michigan Blues Radio Station), Australia(South Australian Roots And Blues Podcast) and UK (London based Midlands Metalheads Radio), to name a few. Apart from playing several venues across the breadth of the country, the band has been featured on MTV and played Asia's biggest Blues Festival , The Mahindra Blues Festival in 2016.
