Drunk In Love (Arranging Final)

Last night a few of my friends wanted to get something off our chest. We began impromptu writing the piece at 12am and went to bed at 6. I hope everyone hears what they need to hear from this, I hope it moves us forward, I hope someone is touched. I'm praying for peace right now. We are all really on the same side, and there's no argument. We can be better.

I had the profound honor of arranging a song for the DIVAs Caf show that happened in October of 2014! Here's the recording of the show! This is my favorite arrangement that I've done so far, and it helped that I had such amazing vocalist and killin players to amplify what I gave to them. Listen and enjoy!

This is a song I wrote when I was 16 years old for his 65th birthday! My friend Sam arranged it and I was joined by my beautiful mother, Mary LaMar on it. It's truly a blessing to have a family like mine, hope that you all enjoy!

Lullaby

My first time writing for piano, I was feeling some type of way and put my feelings on a page. Shout out to Prathit Kadam for killing it! 

They say to give someone their flowers while they're alive. I personally feel as if I never properly said to Ms. Rechtman how incredible she was as a Class Dean, as a mentor, and as a person. That being said, while it is never too late to pay tribute to someone, I am also reminded how appreciative I am for all the people who have helped me grow into the person I am today and use this piece as a stamp in being proactive in letting them know. This is a piece I wrote last night performed by my friend Michael Wooten. 

Rest in peace, Ms. Rechtman.
