Lama Tharchin Rinpoche teaches on the "Great Perfection Prayer of Kuntuzangpo" (Kunzang Monlam) during an Autumnal Equinox tsok in the wake of the 9/11 attacks in the US, giving advice for sangha during difficult times. Rinpoche says that reciting the Kunzang Monlam is like having a drink of nectar, especially when we are experiencing suffering.

In this teaching, Lama Tharchin Rinpoche explains how by using the five elements of tantric practice – substance, deity, meditative concentration, mantra, and mudra – gaining understanding of the magical apparitions of wisdom leads us to the realization of our ultimate nature. How the world appears, though seemingly real from the point of view of sentient beings, is not real from the point of view of omniscient wisdom. “In order to destroy these appearances that lack truth, we make use of an appearance that lacks grasping.”

Lama Tharchin Rinpoche teaches on the feminine principle in Vajrayana Buddhism with a focus on the Dakini, or Khandro. Rinpoche tells stories of extraordinary human Khandros, such as Yeshe Tsogyal, Dresi Khandro, who came from his father’s region in Amdo, Tromge Dawa Drolma (Chagdud Rinpoche's Ma-Yum), Sera Khandro, Shuksep Jetsun Rinpoche of Gangri Tokar, Machik Labdron, and others. Rinpoche also tells stories about practitioners who receive the blessings of Khandros such as Vajrayogini, and how meditating upon the Dakini brings swift blessings and the rapid attainment of siddhis.
