That Disco Groove Guest Mix 015 - HEYO Funk

We've just about got over that heartbreaking extra time defeat in the euro finals to Italy and with a new week comes a new show to lift your spirits high!

Starting off this week with a rotation of 3 hot edits available only to Bandcamp from Sirs, Ron Basejam and Shaka Loves You. It really is 3 for the price of one for The Bandcamp Beat!

We never like to channel our sound at Collective Groove which is why you will be hearing nu & future disco, house and Latin grooves during the Recommended Releases section from the likes of Prins Thomas, Jazz Mango, Andy Buchan, Kapote, Bustin Loose, AtJazz, Tigerbalm, Foot-Loose, C. Ladies On Mars on That Disco Groove Radio Show 015

This episode starts slowly for a change with a few jams from the recent Yacht Disco Edits 4 comp, then I pick up the pace a bit later. Along the way I play something brand spanking new from myself that I’m pretty excited about. It’s so new that it’s not signed yet so it’s just a demo at the moment, but fingers crossed I can get it out into the world properly soon! I also play something brand new, amazing and joyous from lovely people Twin Sun, as well as new bits from Musta, Bereznoy and Disco Suicide Club.

For the second half of the show I hand things over to HEYO Funk, who brings you an awesome hour of disco vibes all the way from Norway. Origimally from Paris but now residing in Oslo, Hadrien is one half of Funtowear, is an excellent DJ, and also a brand new dad! So this mix is dedicated to Emil, and what a mix it is! Hadrien digs deep through classic disco cuts and newer edits and expertly blends them together to create something sparkly and gorgeous. I absolutely love this guest mix, and I think you will too.

It’s not normally my cuppa chai, but I’ve included a couple of Halloweeny type tunes in this episode.
