"The Last Train" is a special song for me as I wrote it during a time in my life when my Grandpa was battling terminal cancer. It's a reflection on life and a reminder to not waste the time that we have on this earth. One of the last things I talk about with my grandpa was about my music. I went into the aspects of trying to make a career out of it and the various things I was doing to make my dream a reality, but he wasn't concerned about that. He wanted to make sure that I was still making music because he knew that it made me happy. He just wanted me to be happy. I'd like to think despite the subject matter of this song that the happiness and joy I got from making it shines through because that's what he wanted for me. This is for Bernie... Thank you!
