"Keys of War" is an intense song that's supposed to deliver a punch to your ears with its heavy drums and guitar riffs. Originally created for one of my friends, this single evolved to embody the feeling of conflict and resolution, making it a fitting anthem for any intense moment.

It's been quite some time, but here I am again with a new single -- the first Corroded Violence release in three years!

I initially wrote and recorded this song in mid-2023 while Corroded Violence was on hiatus for a different project called Ireul. But later on, I felt that Corroded Violence could no longer continue to stagnate. So I decided that this song could serve as a transitional piece between Necronomicon I (my debut record, released in 2020) and my upcoming second album Aluminum, which is currently in production.

I hope you all will enjoy this track, even though the subject matter it covers is quite sensitive. This song showcases my open hatred and condemnation for pedophilia and child sexual abuse, atrocities that no child should ever have to experience.

So I've decided to... "celebrate" five years of Necronomicon I by remastering its instrumental fourth track, "Xenian Pool." 

The original 2019 mix is absolutely terrible, and the main thing that makes it so terrible is the bass. It overpowers everything and gives almost all of the instruments absolutely no room to breathe. So, I've turned the bass down while also editing the volume of a few of the other tracks to make them more audible.

You might ask, "Why not remaster the full album?" 

Well, here's the thing. I'm not necessarily a fan of Nec I. While I do view it as some sort of exercise in songwriting, I don't necessarily like the lyrics of most of the songs on the album. Now, yes, I am aware that I wrote/recorded that album during my first semester of ninth grade, and I honestly do believe the album works great instrumentally, but still, I honestly wish I had done better with writing the lyrics of that album. Therefore, if Nec I ever gets a full remaster, which is not something that is on my mind right now, expect half of it to be instrumental -- the only songs from the album that I thoroughly enjoy and have no problem performing live are Execute, Messianic Reputation, Devoid, and this track.

With this being said, I hope you enjoy this remaster of Xenian Pool. I feel as if this is how I intended for it to sound back in 2019.

This song was created in March of 2018 by slowing down a recording of a Playstation 1 error called Fearful Harmony to 10% its original speed. At that time, this project was known as Myriad, and sounded much different than the death industrial/doom metal that it is today.
