‘Curry’s House with D.D.Curry’ is a 2-hour dance music program on Voices At Night that combines DJ sets with guest interviews. The London-via-Brooklyn host is a DJ, producer and co-founder of electronic labels Fortune Signal and Working Rhythms Records. Each month, Curry will invite a guest DJ to provide a 1-hour set and have a lively conversation about songs that influenced them. In his mix for this month, Curry provides an energetic blend of house, garage and chillout sounds from around the world. This month’s guest is Edinburgh producer/DJ/saxophonist Panooc (they/them). The XOXA collective co-founder joins the programme to discuss their new single “Make It Real” on Fortune Signal, their love of jazz, and risk taking in one’s creative process. The versatile selector also provides an hour mix of clubby house, deep house, acid and breaks!

Le processus nécessitait ici une plus grande licence artistique que pour la description du paysage sonore d’un habitat terrestre. Tous les éléments ont été assemblés dans mon studio afin de créer une impression de cohésion que l’on retrouve rarement dans les biomes marins actuels, mais qui suggère une forme idéalisée de la richesse de la vie dans ces écosystèmes. »

The process here required a bit more artistic license than is usually involved when representing the soundscapes of a terrestrial habitat. All of the elements were mixed together in my studio to convey a sense of cohesion that rarely exists in actual marine biomes, but which implies an ideal of their rich existence of life.”
