For the last decade, Japanese producer Keita Sano has been putting out inventive house, disco and techno grooves on hot labels like Let’s Play House, 1080p and Mister Saturday Night, always bringing fresh ideas and tough grooves to the table. Off the back of his superb new ‘Love Is Emotion’ EP on Delusions Of Grandeur, we invited Okayama-based Sano-san to our podcast series where producers mix only their own material, and he’s come up trumps with an hour of exclusive, unreleased material. From hard disco to funky acid workouts to bugged out broken beats, it’s the sound of an endlessly creative artist at work.

Peter Croce is a Detroit-based DJ, producer, and head of the boutique vinyl label Rocksteady Disco, which he founded in 2014. 
A true personality DJ and digger, Peter’s sound favors soul and spirit over genres and rules; he endeavors to carry the DIY soundsystem ethos of party hosts a la David Mancuso and Aba Shanti-I into the next generation. 
His career highlights have included Ron Trent’s invitation to play alongside him and François K, and opening for the legendary Grace Jones.

His debut release "Revival" quickly sold out worldwide, earning broad organic support ranging from Mr. Scruff, Soul Clap, Jamie 3:26, and The Blessed Madonna to Kanye West, and is still heard at parties around the world. 
A jazz-trained bassist and prolific re-editor (usually under his Mr. PC alias), he artfully tailors classics and re-creates future gems for his dance floors. 
In addition to his own imprint, his releases can be found on Industry Standard, Razor-N-Tape, Soundway, On The Corner, and Kampana.

Peter maintains a demanding schedule between residencies in Detroit and Chicago, as well as appearances in Tokyo, Seoul, Mexico City, New York, Miami, London, Paris, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., and more. 
He is also the label manager of MotorCity Wine Recordings.

The thirteenth episode is mixed & selected by Coen.
Coen is an artist who goes by many names, working tirelessly behind the scenes and collaborating with others under various aliases for many years. 2016 saw the enigmatic producer's solo debut, picked up by none other than living legend Idris Elba. Idris heard some of the producer's unreleased material whilst travelling in South Africa, leading to Coen's first single 'Ululu' on Idris' own 7Wallace imprint. The follow up, Yellah, came courtesy of the forward thinking minds at Beating Heart and garnered diverse DJ support from Dixon through to Maryanne Hobbs. Keep your eyes peeled for a debut EP coming later this year.
