The album 'Fire in the Sky' on @khoinix Records brings the horror soundtrack-inspired elements from @ubreblanca previous work together with the group's more recent focus on the dancefloor, pushing at the edges of the dark disco sound the band has become known for.

The tracks draw inspiration from techno on 'Heatseeker', EBM on 'Prison Acid' and 90s trance on 'Purity Spiral' to the ubiquitous John Carpenter influence on the title track and 'Stress Positions', a dark and somehow danceable track in 6/4 time, making heavy use of the Roland GR-500 synth guitar and incorporating bass guitar for the first time on an Ubre Blanca release.

Fast cars, Japanese whiskey and cigars with exotic island romances, Miss Zagato draws her sirens into the vortex of stolen moments and pain written in poetry and paradox. Miss Zagato was cofounder, coproducer and vocalist for Italo Disco/Dark Wave group Quattrovalvole in 2020-2021, with releases on international labels such as Oraculo Records, Disco Halal, Moodmusic, Secret Fusion, and Furioza. In late 2021 she set up her own analog studio in Wiltshire, where there are fewer speed cameras and more space for vintage race cars. Since then, solo and collab themes have popped up on some of the most vital platforms of the dark side of the force like, for instance, La Dame Noir, Kyma Komplex, Emerald & Doreen, Boite Music, Club Mackan, and Quixotical, just to name a few.
