Volume IV - Hostox

The next Volume represents a special audio journey for every electronic music connoisseur. Ted Amber, the founder of Botanic Minds and OMM, joins laminim for  the fifth Volume. 

Born in Lithuania and currently based in London, United Kingdom, he developed over the years a very delicate taste for music. He fell in love with the underground scene at a very early age, and since that moment, his desire was to conquer it through his music. With constant support from some of the most recognized worldwide names and the impressive vinyl releases, Ted Amber constantly delivered to exceed everyone's expectations.

Our winter series comes to an end with the fifth Volume, a significant milestone for us. We would like to thank you for the support! The upcoming Volumes from our second series will be released this Spring.

Volume VIII - Daniel Broesecke

We have finally arrived at the end of our Volume compilation, featuring a very special guest who needs no introduction. For the tenth volume, we are joined by Crihan, also known as “Discret Popescu.”

Alin Crihan began his career in Târgu Mureș in 2004. In 2009, he moved to Bucharest and has since consistently exceeded the expectations of the Underground Electronic Music Scene in Romania’s capital and beyond.

His performances at Sunwaves have always been inspirational, helping him gradually create a special connection with the crowd over the years, resulting in many memorable moments on the sand of the Romanian shore of the Black Sea. 
Over the time, he has developed a unique sound that is now considered one of the purest definitions of Romanian minimalism, especially evident in his releases between 2015 and 2020.

This final volume of our compilation marks a significant milestone in our musical journey. A total of ten special podcasts, incredible performances, spectacular guests, and most importantly, the people and music that brought it all to life. We’ve met incredible people along the way and created memories that will live forever in our hearts.

We would like to personally express our gratitude to all the artists involved in our project, and especially to all the listeners who played the volumes and critically contributed to our work, giving valuable significance to our efforts.

We are proud to announce Romanian minimal maestro Cally for our upcoming release. Born in Craiova and known for his refined sound, he crafts another exclusive experience with the Living Mirrors EP. This edition marks a milestone for laminim: the debut collaboration between two of its visionaries, Albert and Radu. Known individually for shaping the ethos and direction of the laminim movement, the two now join forces musically for the first time.

Albert, already a global ambassador for laminim, has represented the movement on stages around the world, from boutique festivals to renowned clubs, including the legendary Gazgolder in Moscow.

The original cut channels Zenk’s signature balance of groove and atmosphere with a forward-driving rhythm. It showcases his refined approach to minimal, combining precise structures into a warm atmosphere.

Adding a distinctive counterpoint, Hostox delivers a reinterpretation that reshapes the core elements of the track into a new, forward-thinking perspective. His version highlights the versatility of the composition while extending its reach onto different dancefloor contexts.

With Rudimental Theory, Zenk reaffirms his evolving sound while inviting Hostox to expand the dialogue, a release that is both functional and exploratory, designed to resonate across autumn nights and beyond.

We’ve come a long way, and today we’ve finally reached the end of our journey.
The fourth and final release of our Anotimpuri series features Dan Primaru aka Primarie, a well-known figure in the Romanian underground scene and the owner of Tzinah Records.

Looking back on this past year, we’ve laughed and cried through the frozen winter and the heat of summer. We’ve watched spring bring our reality to life piece by piece, and now it’s time to leave everything behind and embrace a new chapter in our lives.

Your unimaginable support has turned moments into memories that live beyond their digital imprint,forever a part of our soul.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to have met so many incredible people along this journey. Special thanks to the artists who made this compilation possible and to their teams,their dedication to music has always been an inspiration to us.
