Italian-based Mathame joins ARDOR with the 'Loophole' EP. Its title track 'Dance Of Light' is a synth-dominated techno trip with minimalistic drums to switch up the rhythm in a room. The two B-side tracks are straighter dancefloor fare. The first, 'Prophecy', is a thick and heavy, hypnotising 4x4 track & the rough 'Amelie Lens Remix' is a dark and very dynamic interpretation with massive pressure.

Lots of new music this week and just because it's a holiday week doesn't mean we are taking a break. Just in time to rock your 4th of July is a new one coming from Riot Recordings a label headed up by Frankyeffe of one of my favorite producers over the past few years. The latest release comes from Spaniard Raul Mezcolanza and Italian Devid Dega. RIOT 102 Titled "Cosmo" will be released in a just a few days and we have your pre order link right here if you want to make sure you get it as soon as it releases on Monday. There are two originals "Cosmo" and "I Believe You" with remixes coming respectively from BolsteR and Luca Marchese. We are excited to have the chance to share the original version of Cosmos with you here today.

This is the first time I have come across both of these producers and I am really excited to get to know their music better. Both have amazing catalogs of music and I strongly encourage you to go through their beatport and spotify pages. "Cosmo" is beautifully arranged Techno beast that is going to drive any dancefloor it is played too into a frenzy. The groove is dripping with rich bass that permeates throughout every aspect of the track. This track straight up rumbles like a freight train and whenever I get that feeling I always know we got a banger on our hands. 'Cosmo' is no exception to the rule there. There is rarely a moment besides just a few seconds where the driving groove relents. When it does we are treated to amazing and ethereal pads and cool percussive elements that will take you off to another planet. I also really enjoy the brooding synth that meanders in and out of the mix adding another little bit of excitement to the song. For sure will be dropping this track in my sets myself and can't wait to give it a try tomorrow night when I get to drop some proper techno here in LA. Make sure to add this to your collection if your a DJ and if you love quality Techno make sure to add Riot Recording and these two amazing producers to your lists.

Serving up a batch of unfiltered, immersive techno on KKU035 is Romanian producer Deysa, with classically trained musician turned electronic whiz Dusty Kid in charge of remixing.
Kicking things off in an understated yet profound style, Euphoria is a slow burner that resets the mood while keeping tension at bay and captivating through its syncopated strings and arpeggiated synth arrays.
Taking on the title track, Dusty Kid reimagines a rave-ready rendition with a fidgety bassline and an escalating synth lead culminating into a full-on dance breakdown on his remix of Euphoria.
Shadows centers around a fizzy bassline while glitched out pads and eerie vocals make up a brooding mood and mysterious atmosphere, rounding off the release on an intriguing note.

A blistering buddy to the first instalment of Pig&Dan’s ‘Tunnel Vision’ EP will land in April. 

Not one to rest on their laurels, Pig&Dan have come out firing in 2020. One of the techno genre’s most prolific artists, their 17 year has seen a wealth and consistency of output unmatched by most in the industry. This is exemplified by the ‘Tunnel Vision’ series launched on Drumcode this year.

Set for release just one week after its predecessor, part 2 continues in powerful, peak-time mode. ‘Sirenism’ is a tour de force, driven by a pulsating lead that pops with acidic undertones. ‘Rinse Out The Sound’ is an intoxicating blend of warbled effects, warm synth layers and crisp drum work. ‘Perception’ is marked by an exuberant top line riff and steely percussive layers and makes for a colourful addition to any set. ‘Wasted’ is muscular techno at its finest, finished with a glistening layer of melody. No surprise the collection went down a treat at Warehouse Project, Drumcode Halloween and Dockyard Festival, among others. The duo are in irresistible form.
