By far, my favorite experience at Burning Man this year was DJing atop Garage Mahal's Ganesh Bus - in the midst of a raging dust storm - on a magical mystical art tour in celebration of my dear friend Janet Love's 50th birthday. It was just insane out - a bus full of stoked Mahalers and random burners appearing out of the dust to climb aboard; so much wind and dust that I literally couldn't tell if we were moving or not; CDJs so near the end of their rope that it's a miracle they went the distance; fantastic art appearing and disappearing in the most surreal of fashions; and a bunch of deep, warm, happy and all around awesome house music. Truly the stuff magic is made of. The actual set was not recorded, but this redux version definitely captures the feeling and is the better, quality wise, for having not been recorded under those insanely wonderful conditions. My deepest love and thanks to everyone that built the bus and rode it that day. Dedicated with love to you, to Janet Love for your birthday and to my love, Flo, for the best Burn ever, baby. Love you all, tons.

This week we welcome a long time friend and wonderfully talented producer and Dj, Unique from Croatia. These last few years have seen him steadily rising in the scene with releases on 1605, Natura Viva and Deeperfect naming a few. He also recently launched his new record label @selbstportrait-musik. When he isn't busy smacking tennis balls (he is a pro at his club in Pula) he is busy in the studio cranking out new tunes and making a name for himself as one of Croatia's best. Orlando based DJ and producer Dead Space has exploded onto this seen this past year with a host of energetic house tracks that have garnered the attention of some of the scene's prominent labels such as Toolroom, Glasgow Underground, Audiophile and Great Stuff Recordings to name but a few. With his own brand of bass injected grooves and drum laden beats Dead Space has already caught the ears of Insomniac Events having played their EDC Orlando event earlier this year.
