Currently based in the border city of Tijuana Mexico, Abraham Blond grew up with regional Mexican music; but he was seduced by the variants of electronic music and the impulse of digital production. Since the end of 2006 he delved into the appreciation of the underground sound, to later bet on the low-mid tempo and the construction of his music from elements of house, minimal, subtle percussion arrangements and hypnotic basses. During 2019 he collaborated in Factory Radio (Buenos Aires) with a monthly broadcast, promoting through this platform the music of emerging artists in Latin  America. Under nicknames like Gus Cerato or Los Rubio, he positioned his music on different labels, proposing different variants of his work, but without losing the core of his style.

We are very happy to present the new Mental Picks this VA where you can always find something that can fit for your sets or maybe no. For this first one of the year we have all new projects and artists first track comes by Micronode the new project of Eddy Romero together with Maertz , after his first track released in our last vinyl only release and that is in the charts of Deejay.de since it's release still there when i'm writting this they have done a second track for this VA to give some attention also to the digital public, analog project that will have also a format of live act that will show if everything goes well this year in Off week barcelona. For the other two tracks we go to south america the continent of the underground house and minimalistic stuff we get the second track signed by Blu.a an artist that is doing very well lately having released with Jay Haze , remixed to Cesare VS Disorder and reaching the charts of Beatport with the last tracks to the top 20 position. Last track by the Puerto Rican Emilano Martini that has signed in labels like Lucidlfow, Nervous , Lapsus , I Records or Fantastic Friends comes with a very nice minimalistic track with that dub touch that we love in our label. So with this release opening the 2022 we go to our 14 years of life and happy to still sharing music with you. Stay tuned many surprises are coming this year !!

The story of Same Mind begins with the first release by Yaroslav Kinsky, who brings us an atmospheric audio journey formed by 3 original tracks and a remix by Pablo Bolivar.

In recent years, Yaroslav has been exploring synthesizers and other electronic music hardware, focusing more on recording than releasing. Now it's time to bring ideas to life.

The A-side starts with the title track 'ALT' which stands for 'After Long Time'. The mysterious synth sounds over a groovy bassline make the listener sail above the clouds and get a bird's eye view of the beauty of nature. 'Enduro' continues the storyline with a dreamy atmosphere, warm synths and enigmatic vocals.

The B-side starts with trippy 'Moons' and definitely sounds and feels more dancefloor-oriented and while listening you could easily find yourself dancing in the middle of your room. The release ends with a dubby remix of 'Moons' by one half of Pulshar duo, Seven Villas founder and AvantRoots co-founder Pablo Bolivar, which goes in a more hypnotic but equally mysterious direction.
