This mantra comes from a Sikh hymn called the Mangalan Charan Mantra. It is chanted for protection and creates a magnetic field of protection around you and your space. Chant when you feel the need to be uplifted and protected. Sat Nam.

My name is Lana Maree. I am a  singer/songwriter, poet and sound healing practitioner.

I channel words, sound and music through the impulses of movement, stillness and listening.

I compose, write and perform solo and also with the groups Star Sister Revival and The Society for Sacred Listening. 

I've produced 2 albums and a book of poetry, Careless Blossoming. I won an award for best song, which was picked up by Snatam Kaur called Peace and Harmony. Two of my poems have been nominated for Pushcart Awards, How We Forgive and Blue Resuscitation and one of my poems, A Woman Wilding, is going to the moon for a project that is sending art, music and literature to the moon.

I currently play in 2 groups, Star Sister Revival and The Society For Sacred Listening. I also write regulary on Substack and am currently working on writing stories from my memoir into monologue format for performance.

I love finding new and ancient ways, like singing and creative expression, to reconnect to, and deepen my relationship and connection to others, the Earth and her myriad forms of life and creation.
