We’re excited to premiere the lead track from David Lowe’s latest release on Issues. The London-based DJ and producer has been steadily carving out a reputation in the UK underground with his trademark blend of heavy-hitting drums and dark, infectious basslines. His music has already landed on labels like Mindshake, No Bad Fridays, Roush, Muse, DPE, and Techords. Now he returns to Issues with a cut designed for the floor.

'Shake' is as direct as it comes. Punchy percussion drives the rhythm while a relentless bassline keeps the tension high. It’s a track made for peak-time sessions, stripped back yet full of character, with the kind of energy that cuts through any system.

The release also features 'Max Effort', another dark and functional roller that leans on crisp drum programming and an unrelenting groove. Both tracks show Lowe’s focus on no-nonsense minimal tech with maximum dancefloor impact.

Having first appeared on Issues in 2023 with 'Like This', Lowe is back with a sound that feels sharper and more assured. With early support from selectors already building, this release looks set to underline his rise as one of the UK’s most promising underground names.
