‘Unwind & Dissolve Gently’ showcases the Graz-based artist’s distinctive production flair - one which has developed in style and sophistication since his last outing on CF in 2022 as Awo Ojiji with subsequent releases via Well Street, Grid and Danielle’s Soft Raw imprint.

This collection draws heavy influence from the rich history of the UK scene - from the dubstep-leaning lurch of ‘Ramshackle’ to the introspective electronica of closing track ‘Whats The Mass of Memory?’

Graz psych-ambassador Benedikt Brands, a.k.a. My Friend Peter continues into the psychedelic journey towards the new album with the next single “Easy” — a striking introduction to the multi-instrumentalist’s forthcoming album of the same name, set for release in Autumn 2025 via Viennese label Numavi Records.
From there, EASY offers a kind of farewell to the burdens of making music—a candid inner dialogue, framed in familiar psych tones but carried by a groove that lightens the thematic weight. Its finale dissolves into a shoegaze-like wall of noise, a cathartic release of frustration.
