Im Jahr 2015 begann Minzkönig in Würzburg, die Stadt mit einer Bandbreite an Basslines und Breakbeats zu verwöhnen. In den darauffolgenden Jahren konnte er sich in Süddeutschland etablieren und war unter anderem in Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Mannheim und Tübingen zu hören. Als Teil der Darmstädter beat.stay.love-Crew festigte er sein Standing in der Rhein-Main-DnB-Szene. Weiterhin veranstaltet er selbst in Würzburg als Teil der Tiefdruckzone und in Mainz als Teil der Basement Sessions Crew.
Nachdem der Minzkönig lange Jahre nur Drum & Bass gewidmet hat, hat er sich in 2023 als DJ auch mit langsameren Sound auseinandergesetzt. Aber egal wie schnell oder langsam - die gebrochenen Beats dürfen auf keinen Fall fehlen!

Im Rahmen der London Groove Partyreihe landete Minzkönig vergangenen Herbst zum ersten Mal im Schick und verliebt sich sofort in das große Wohnzimmer mit den urigen Tapeten und den tanzfreudigen Menschen. 

In diesem Schickcast präsentiert euch Minzkönig einen unkonventionellen Mix aus Footwork/Juke und Jungle. Freut euch auf gebrochene Beats, zerhäckselte Vocal Samples und verschobene Basslines um die 165 BPM.

Bereits 2020 entstand Gyroscope und ist als Whitelabel aus Dot.Mode’s Sets nicht mehr wegzudenken. Das erste Techno Aushängeschild von Dot.Mode spielt mit der Geduld der Zuhörer. Zusammengehalten von melodiösen breaks rollen die stampfenden Kicks und die walzende Bassline erbarmungslos durch den Club und reißt alles mit was nicht niet und nagelfest ist.

My 1st attempt in farming for a completely new genre “Drum & fkn Bass” with the mission of just finding more disgustingly beautiful DnB tracks to listen to whenever… I’ve now discovered music with the filth I desire, depth-in-drums, tech-in-bass, and that enslaving war cry of a baseline that slaps any smile upside-fucking down.

Quitting performing in order to grow and hone in on my craft. 
My final DJ set, until I can get myself together a fully original set. 
The tracks I selected are all my absolute favourites and there is one original in the mix.
This was one of the most special sets I have ever played, quite literally the end of an era and huge part of my life.

LΔNDI CHRISTINE is South African with passion for music. She was introduced to techno during her late teens, spending hours on the best dancefloors in SA. With the solace found in these moments, her obsession with the genre grew. 

Landi Christine feels moved by the intricate sounds in the depth of darkness and finds inspiration in the dramatic, driving basslines that carry one away from their current state of existence.

Landi has spent time teaching herself the art of mixing but felt the need to start from scratch, understanding the dynamics of musical production and ultimately launching her career as a multi-faceted artist in music production, a poet, vocalist and songwriter.

Landi Christine's sound is recognizable, clean, dramatic and thought provoking- bringing you to a sense of understanding of duality by the clever use of sound and words.
