Two States of Mind is Land of the Lakes 3rd studio album and will be Danielle and Matthew's tenth album they’ve written and recorded together as a couple and the title reflects on how the act of writing songs together has changed over the years as both of their songwriting styles independently evolve over time.

Land of the Lakes are the husband and wife duo of Matthew Thomson and Danielle Hamel that hail from Newfoundland, but spent much of their music career in Montreal before moving back home. They have been writing and playing music together since 2002 under a number of different monikers.
