horizon.loops [EP]

my new EP released on June 3 via Bandcamp: https://laneloops.bandcamp.com/album/slug-ep

slug.EP is a batch of beats created in the months preceding my graduation. All beats were made in Santa Cruz, using a simplified equipment setup, with a heavy focus on sample chopping. The EP's title is a nod to both a school mascot, as well as the extreme case of senioritis that I faced while creating this project.

fresh off of the release of New Beginnings 2, laneloops presents a new batch of beats. this EP showcases lane's unique sample choices and his chopping abilities. the project also showcases his ability to produce different styles. "drunk on love" and "pikachu" were both made in 2023, while "afternoon drive" and "night in the city" were taken from the vault. these older tracks reflect a time of experimentation with different styles of drums as well as higher tempos. The EP's title is a nod to finding love, as well as the classic phrase from Pokemon
