On May 26th, Sea to Sun will proudly release, “Welcome to the World”, a white-hot new single from Bangladesh born, Toronto based, trance talent Saad Ayub and acclaimed, New York singer-songwriter, Sylvia Tosun.  Sea to Sun, co-owned by Tosun, recently joined some of the most notable record labels in electronic music, on the Black Hole label roster and selected “Welcome To The World” as the anthem to mark this achievement.

Sylvia Tosun is an artist whose career has transcended genres, captivating music lovers around the world.  She is a classically trained soprano who studied at the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in New York City, going on to top the Billboard Club Charts with tracks like “Push And Pull”, as well as releasing the seminal vocal trance anthem “An Angel’s Love” on the influential Armada Music label. She has worked with numerous big names in the field including, Aly & Fila, Alex M.O.R.P.H. and Andrew Rayel. Always combining emotive delivery with meaningful lyrics and classic songwriting, she is a star who continues to shine brightly. 

With his distinct, pulsating sound, Bengali-born trance ambassador Saad Ayub has carved out a special place for himself in the dance music community.  Inspired by the fresh sound of psychedelic and melodic trance, he is become known for masterfully combining the light and dark sides of the genre and creating a euphoric blend of music that stimulates the body and mind.  Between them, Saad and Sylvia create a true state of bliss on this new single.

Entitled “Welcome To The World” and available as a radio edit and original mix, the track soars to the heavens from the off. Sylvia’s dreamy, ethereal lyrics muse on spiritual themes and build to a big chorus drop that will get every dancefloor jumping. After an epic breakdown and spine tingling synth sequences, the beats drop once more and race through a starry night sky with fist pumping energy. Add in some tender tinkling keys and more rippling arpeggios, and you have a sure-fire, heart-swelling summer anthem in the making.

It's about the all the different emotions, which often get surpressed by our tendency to overthink things.

In recent times I have constantly been trying to become more aware of the emotions, which I feel in every single moment.
I have been trying to embrace them as they come, the positive and the negative, the ups and the downs.
Embrace the moments of joy and happiness, moments of gratitude and proud, moments of relief and relaxation, but also embrace the moments of sadness, sorrow or fear.

Instead of analyzing situations and worrying about solutions, the seemingly simple process of 'realising and embracing how I feel' helped me to decide about the 'next step' very often and things became clear much quicker in so many cases.
Suddenly important decisions become obvious and I don't need to overthink them anymore, because intuition shows me the way to go.

This new and exciting awareness literally helps me every day now, in all parts of my life. (Music, Health, Social Relationships,...)
It helps me to feel more alive than ever before and I'm very excited to continue this journey, the process of Learning To Live. :-)

‘Fiji’, ‘Atlantis’: if these words are transmitting some attractive images to your mind, safe to say it’s nothing compared to what the track itself’s gonna do! That may already have happened however, as ‘Fiji’  – a release that came whisper close to all-out classic status – has lain largely dormant since its year 2000 chart run.

Becoming ever more buried DJ treasure, it’s been plucked from the crates by Black Hole Recordings, who – having given it a most masterful of remasters – have placed it in the remix hands of ReOrder and Meeting Molly.

Having already claimed a place on Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State Of Trance Ibiza 2019’ album, ReOrder’s revision leads the release’s charge. Setting it on a primetime footing, the Dutchman plays its rolling drums off against taut sub-riffs and robust bass, before letting its harmonies first creep, then sweep through the production. ‘Once heard, never forgotten’ is the only way to describe ‘Fiji’s ethereal vocal (courtesy of Praise’s Miriam Stockley) and in his hands its power to affect the floor has only increased.

Meeting Molly views ‘Fiji’ from an altogether different vista – albeit a no less instinctive one. The Russian producer dials into the castaway nature of its halcyon vocal, delivering an epically chilled, island-bound ride. Along the way his interpretation draws on deeper house techniques and applies trop-house trims, connecting it with no small degree of beachside FX & atmosphere.
